FC: How to properly wash your dog in the tub. By: Stephanie Hall
Calling all pet @parents.... A clean dog is a happy dog.
Before we begin it is very important to gather everything we need ahead of time so that you do not have to leave your pooch unattended.
You will need: towels for drying a suction cup with a noose to keep your dog in the tub, a lead to walk your dog to the tub
shampoo a small container to gather water (a plastic cup)
patience and most importantly ... a dirty dog
To begin, which may be the most difficult part of all, you must find your dog and bring him to the bathroom.
I recommend checking under the bed or behind the sofa, that's where my dog loves to hide.
After you find your dog and bring him to the bathroom, place him in the tub.
If you are lucky and he or she stays great.. if not your can use the noose to hook the dogs head to keep him or her her in the tub.
Now you are ready to begin shampooing your dog.You should work your way from the tail end of the dog towards the head.
Make sure you are mindful not to get shampoo into your dog's eyes and ears.
Now it's time to rinse. You may need to fill up your small container and pour over your dog if your dog is frightened by the sound of the running water.
Be sure to make sure to rinse all of the shampoo from your dog's hair
Lay a few towels on the floor and then wrap your dog in a towel... All done.
Remember A clean dog is a happy dog. | Now you have a clean dog
