FC: What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!
1: It started with having months apart to have days together, and that's why every minute we spent together has been seared in my memory. I'll never forget a single moment of it. We fell in love, despite the distance.!
2: Our first date at the Minnesota State Fair on September 8th 2008
3: Love is too strong a word to say it too early, but it has too beautiful a meaning to say it too late
4: Distance never separates two hearts that really care, for our memories span the miles and in seconds we are there. But whenever I start feeling sad, because I miss you, I remind myself how lucky I am to have someone so special to miss.

7: There was plenty of shopping, drinking dirty martinis, and time to relax!

12: It all started aT a Christmas party, a BLUE dress, and Dave the camera man! One revealing photo later, a conversation was born, in which Dave of course disagreed to delete the photo... An email from Dave the next day, and the rest is history...

14: n November 14th, 2009 Marine Corps birthday Ball At Hard Rock Café | The Mairn | You did it!
17: We spent St. Patty's day in town., and Dave's brother Mike flew in for the celebration.!!
18: We spent a full day at the Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco.
19: We saw the famous "Gold man" | And The Cat-Dog-Mouse Man
20: Our First Twins Game.
21: The beer bong didn't go so well on round one...but there was good food, lots of beer, and Dave finally met some of the 2NT trauma gals!
22: Missing you was hard but falling in love with you was the easiest thing I've ever done in my life
24: Dave's first YUNKER Christmas Eve! Every year on Christmas Eve a huge party is thrown at Grandma and Grandpa Yunkers on the lake.
25: Before we open presents we have the tradition of gathering everyone in the same room and singing carols! | We were the "FIVE GOLDEN RINNNNNNNGS!" | The last song is always "the twelve days of Christmas"
26: It was always hard letting go when up time was up. How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.

28: We like to celebrate life, and all of our blessings frequently with a good drink or two. CHEERS!!!! I mean, we are the life of the party though! DUH
32: Dave brought Brooke flowers every week when they first started dating... and this definitely won brownie points with her!
33: And Brooke won Dave over with her unique baking skills, and frequent coffee deliveries to Dave at work. (Yes, that is a boob cake!)
34: Our First Movie: TAKEN
35: OUR FIRST TIME FISHING... | We made a bet to see who would catch the first fish. The loser had to lick it. And...as you can see, Dave lost!
36: Our first summerfest 2008
37: We are both still deciding whether to make the mullets permanent or not.
38: There were plenty of nights spent at the local beer garden. And it seems that no matter what we do, we always have a great time.

40: June 21st '09 | One of our favorite places to go is Olive Black Martini Bar in Richmond IL. | They have the best dirty martinis with blue cheese stuffed olives!
41: since then we have been inseparable. Making and sharing memories, creating new beginnings, and laughing A LOT along the way... | 2008 & 2009 have been great years. We were able to share a lot of our "firsts" as a couple during this time...
42: Our first vacation together was a trip to California to visit Brooke's family. Dave took a few days off of work, and we headed out for a long weekend. | CALIFORNIA
43: We stayed in Soquel at the "Yunker Inn." The most romantic getaway in the Redwood forest.
44: We decided to take Hwy One up to San Franscisco | But first had to stop at the Silver Spur for some good eats! Yummmm!
45: The drive was longer, but the view of the ocean was well worth it.

49: Chopsticks anyone?? | Getting crazy on the piano like old times!

52: Our First Time Bowling! | Brooke and Amy try a chew..... Yuck!
53: And we came to the realization that we areNOT good bowlers....lol
54: Dave and Brooke both participated in the Alzheimer's Association fundraiser. Of course, they had to be on different teams so they could compete for raising more money.
55: Together we raised over $5,000 | In honor of those who suffer from Alzheimer's disease....
56: David's Gothic themed birthday party with Karen was a scary good time. Costumes were awesome and good times were had by all! Friday the 13th.
57: Karen tried to continue the tradition of sitting on the birthday cake... | unfortunately Brooke's cake was made out of fondant, which hardens as it dries.
58: Our First Halloween 2008
60: Brooke's 25th Birthday was a blast, thanks to Dave. | Dave threw Brooke a two day party. The first day was celebrated at Bistro 220, and drinks at Medusa's...
62: ...And The next day Dave hosted a barbeque at the house. He even flew in Brooke's brother to make it an extra special day! | Dave's ego was boosted when he kicked Brooke's butt at the hunting game.... (go figure!)
63: As if it wasn't enough, Dave also bought Brooke a new mountain bike. | The highlight of the bar was the "shocker" game that Dave brought, which randomly shocks someone's finger.
65: We spent the morning together as a couple, and then hosted dinner with the Broadens! :)
66: Our year headed towards an end with the same Christmas party where we originally met. | Geneva National 2009

68: Brooke and David hosted the annual JC Christmas Caroling party, complete with the Trolley and four pans of lasagna!
69: Apparently our singing wasn't exciting for all...
70: Our first NEW YEARS!! We started the night off at Olive Black for Martinis. It was closed to the public and tickets were $100.00 all you can drink/eat. Before the count down and after a few Extra dirty martinis, we headed back in to Lake Geneva to The Next Door Pub to celebrate with friends.

73: The JC's annual Installation Banquet on the Lady of the Lake.

75: Dave's last day as the JC president.
76: The JC's hosted it's annual BIG TICKET BINGO. Although we didn't win the big money, Brooke did end up winning a free massage! :) | \And unfortunately the next table heard Brooke swear when she lost the last game....oops!

79: Love does not make the world go 'round; love is what makes the ride worthwhile.
82: We went camping for the first time to Governor Dodge State Park near Madison. Although it was Brooke's first time REALLY camping,"Boy Scout Dave" made sure Brooke was in good hands!
83: We went hiking, and fishing. And spent the weekend relaxing with the raccoons!

91: The best part about being in love is.... THE LAUGHTER!!!
92: We took the train down to Chicago for Jeff's graduation. We made a fun weekend out of it, and went to the museum, a concert, and to the Second City Comedy Club.
94: Jeff Broaden graduates from The University of Chicago! | to the Graduate
96: Zander Broaden | One of the hardest things we have had to do as a couple was to put down our amazing friend Zander after he contracted Lyme's disease and kidney failure. It was a very sad time in our lives. | 081/2004--07/03/2009 Looking down from Heaven
98: Although we spent 2008 and 2009 getting to know one another, they were two of the best years of our lives....
99: And we look forward to spending many many more of those years with one another!
