This is for my husband Hilario
Once upon a time, there were three white lilies that stumbled in a violet vase.
At the same time, there was a purple bicycle that got left behind in a computer lab.
While all that was happening, a runaway pen drew some squiggles against a red surface.
A baby left red hand and foot prints with her grandmother.
The sun glistened and made these leaves green as limes.
Green heirloom tomatoes! | More green tomato leaves, mint leaves | Green squash leaves! | Oops, there were red tomatoes too!
The three flowers, the bicycle, the runaway pen, the hand and foot prints were all fans of the SF Palace of Fine Arts. This is their favorite place to go to in San Francisco.
Inside the building, they met the Queen of the Sun. She also glistened in the light. She was yellow all over.
They all met some oranges too. They were hanging loosely and were sitting on the tree's branches.
Most of the visitors in the building had fancy necklaces and were looking at exhibits.
A runaway red flower got stuck in some toilet paper rolls.
In another city, south of San Francisco, some ducks were outside at the lagoon. | They lived by the bridge and swam on the water where people also left their canoes.
Nobody was relaxed, but they were trying.
The crowd all wanted to take their shoes off, but they also wanted to wear the best ones for comfort.
There was dancing everywhere, ballet, jazz and just regular moving about.
There was music everywhere, and some of it sounded brownish with gleeful notes.
After all that dancing and music making, everyone got tired. They went home droopy and ready to sleep.
