FC: Decisions, Decisions, Decisions
Demetri is the type of boy who you expect to die at a young age, or so you would think.
Demetri peers around the room to see everyone silently working. Then takes a moment to ponder if he should follow the example. Instead he remains lost in his thoughts. Eventually he takes out his notebook with a pencil in hand, he was a good writer but this time nothing came to his thoughts with potential. His own mind fought with itself which prevented him from making big decisions. He takes a moment to decide whether to hold his work for tonight or get a good start on it. And he chose the wrong choice.
Hours later he left his so called “punishment” and returns home thinking about what is next in his life. The car that Demetri is in stops and he exits only to be taken by another one, but this he is unfamiliar with.
“Where am I?” He questioned. Seconds later he was bagged and his hands were bound together behind his back with a zip tie. Then he was driven to a disclosed location. Demetri was confused. He didn't know what was happening around him. He was lost in his thoughts like usual. The kidnappers took him and set him down on a chair and tied ropes to him binding him in place.
“Hello, Demetri, I believe your father has something of ours.” The kidnapper said to him clearly making sure that he heard every word. Then two other men entered the room carrying blunt weapons. “What are you talking about? My father died a long time ago,” Demetri cried out worried for his life.
“Don't lie! We know who you are.” One of the men responded yelling at the boy.“Are you sure this is the guy?” The other man whispered at the other ones.“Ummm, I believe so.” Then the man took a pause. “To make sure check his pockets and look for identification.”Then one of the men searched in Demetri's pockets and found his school ID.“Look what I found! Ha! Right person after all.” He then said relieved.“Let me see that!” One said snatching the card out of the others hand. “Jesus Christ, Jackson! This is Demetri Roschin, we've got the wrong man!” One said panicking. Then the walked up to the other and slaps Jackson in the face
“You idiot! What are we going to do now?” The man yelled at Jackson.“You can let me go?” Demetri responded.“Yes that would be a good idea but it’s not going to happen!” Jackson said then laughs hysterically.“You’re not LEAVING! You’re helping us out!” A man says.“I’m not helping one! I want to be free! I didn’t come all the way for Russia my homeland to be kidnapped and forced to do something against my will!” Demetri yelled furiously.
Demetri learned that making the correct decision is always the hardest one to carry out but in the end it’s always worth it. An hour or so later Demetri got caught up in a robbery.“Give me all the money in the cash register!” The masked figure shouted out at the cashier.“Alright sir, just calm down. There is no need to harm anyone here.” The cashier said nervously. Demetri was standing a few feet away from the masked figure and he glared at him with a fire inside his grey eyes and took a moment to think what should he do.
Demetri then sprinted towards the masked figure with all of his speed and tackled him to the ground disarming the figure in the process. The figure then looked at him with shock and Demetri raised his left arm and struck the figure’s left temple sending the figure into more shock. He then stood and walked away from the figure and picked up the gun that had fallen and handed it to the cashier and said.“Have a good day Miss.” Then he walked out of the store never to return.
In the end he saved his own life from the three stooges, and saved the cashier’s from that robber. Later she would give birth to a daughter that would lead this nation into it’s former glory. If Demetri hadn’t made that decision the cashier would of died and Demetri would be sent into depression because of the events he witnessed then he would eventually take his own life which would cause his brother to go on a rampage murdering innocent people in the name of Demetri. But I am thankful for the decision he made for if he hadn’t, I wouldn’t have had a chance to lead the country.
