FC: Once Upon A Time
Once upon a time two beautiful fairies lived a peaceful and quiet existence in an enchanted forest.
One day, however, their happy life was threatened by a terrible dragon who terrorized the forest day and night.
They searched far and wide for someone who could help them. Finally, they called on their fairy godmother.
She told them of an enchanted toad that lived in the forest. If they could find him then they would be saved.
Deep in the forest they found the toad that their fairy godmother had spoken of.
He told them how he had been cursed by an evil witch and promised to save them in exchange for a kiss. | Desperate to be rid of the dragon the fairy granted him his wish.
The toad turned into a handsome prince.
He thanked the fairy for saving him from the curse and vowed to help. He told the fairies that he knew of a brave knight who could slay the dragon.
Meanwhile the brave and noble knight was longing for a way to prove himself and find favor with the king.
When the prince found the knight he told him of the fairy's plight and begged for his help.
The knight was outraged when he heard how the dragon was terrorizing the forest. He vowed to save the fairies and rid the forest of the dragon once and for all.
The prince thanked the knight for his bravery and wished him well on his journey. He promised the knight riches and a place in his kingdom when he returned.
The brave knight took his sword and began his search for the dragon. He did not have to look long, however. Suddenly out of nowhere the dragon attacked! The brave knight raised his sword thinking only of the fairies.
The dragon was vicious and unrelenting, but the knight did not give up. He fought the dragon with all of his might until finally, with one final blow, the dragon fell to the ground. The knight rejoiced in his success.
With the dragon dead the knight returned to the prince. The prince was overcome with joy and bestowed upon him all that had been promised. He gave him numerous riches and an honored place in his kingdom.
Upon hearing of the dragon's death all the animals of the forest celebrated.
The prince returned and told the fairies of the dragon's demise. They thanked him and bestowed upon him a special blessing, promising that he would never have to return to the life of a toad.
Before he returned to his kingdom, the prince thanked the fairies and pledged his eternal loyalty and protection to them.
The fairies returned to their enchanted lives in the forest never forgetting the handsome prince or the brave knight. They hoped that one day they would be able to return the kindness that had been shown to them.
