1: Will's Will Written By: Noah Sher & Patrick Elliott
2: Coach Long told Will he will be starting in the big game.
3: Will practices everyday.
4: One day when he's practicing, Bobby, the person's spot who Will took, showed up at the gym.
5: Bobby, the bully, pushed Will for revenge of taking his spot.
6: Will goes home and tells his mom what had happened. She said to "Take a good rest" (Hemingway 55).
7: His mom takes him to Doctor Juan and tells Will he may not be ready for the game.
8: Will goes home and sobs.
9: Will has to sit out during practice the next day. He realizes he has to work hard to play.
10: He then decides to persevere and try to get better and ready for the game.
11: He goes home and ices his ankle.
12: The next morning, Will shows up to practice early. Coach sees him and thinks "He has slowed much" (Hemingway 57).
13: He practices through the pain.
14: Will goes home exhausted yet pleased.
15: Will goes to the doctor for a checkup on his ankle. As a result, he can play in the big game.
16: Will tells coach Long he can play, but coach isn't going to start him.
17: Will sits on the bench for the 1st half of the game.
18: While the team was loosing, Coach Long said "I wish I had the boy" (Hemingway 51).
19: They were getting beat so badly, coach put Will in for Bobby.
20: He makes his first shot.
21: Second Shot....
22: Will's on fire!!!
23: There is 1 quarter left, but they're still loosing.
24: Will scores 7 points.
25: 3 seconds left!
26: As they gather during a timeout, Coach Long wants Will to take the game winning shot.
27: Bobby sits on the bench.
31: Will's team carries him off the court, even Bobby the bully.
32: Will always had a will.
33: Noah Sher & Patrick Elliott are both 14 years old. They are currently living in Austin, Texas attending Hill Country MIddle School. They both enjoy playing basketball as well as other sports.
