BC: Until next time.......
FC: Random Lake HS & MS Band Trip Sandusky, Ohio May - 2011
These pictures are from one of our rest stops on the way to Sandusky, Ohio. Top picture is of Samantha and her friend, Kaylie after getting some food to eat. The below picture is of the bus we traveled there on. Very nice bus and our driver, Bob, was a real nice man as well.
As soon as we arrived at our hotel on Friday night all of the kids had to immediately head down to the pool until it closed at 11 pm.
Samantha waiting for the rest of the girls to get their suits on so they could head down to the pool. | A picture of our hotel from the pool area. Very nice hotel right on the amusement park grounds.
Pictures of some of the many rollercoasters at Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky. This is supposed to be one of the best rollercoaster parks in the United States. The Top Speed Dragster strata coaster to the left is the highest and fastest in the US.
Pictures from Saturday morning walking outside and then from when the kids were getting ready outside the bus to march.
These are various photos from throughout the park. Hanging out with the Charlie Brown gang and the roller coaster called Raptor. Your feet dangled below you while you road this coaster. A lot of fun.
More awesome coasters and rides from throughout the park. The weather was great, the kids were gutsy and it made for a great combination of fun and laughter while we were there.
The kids hanging out while waiting in line for the Top Speed Dragster roller coaster. A nice group of kids, the three girls were 8th grade students and Davis is a sophomore in high school. He decided to hang out with us because he knew we were going to hit all of the big roller coasters.
Samantha getting her henna tattoo on her hand and then she also got a design air brushed on her other wrist.
Taylor, Kaitlyn and Sami with their faces painted. They all turned out pretty cool.
A very nice trip and learning experience for the kids. For many of them this was the very first time marching with the band. I think we will have to do it again in the future.
