FC: My Outdoor ED experience

I hear a loud scream! The next thing I know, my eyes were looking at the moon. After that laughter erupted, while the darkness shadowed us. That was one of the many memories I have from Outdoor ED. I had very few thoughts before we arrived. What would we do? Who were my roommates? Would I be disappointed? Thankfully, I loved my roommates and it was everything I had hoped for! I learned a lot. We talked about the history of Rocky Mountain National Park on our hike. I also learned about the nice people that helped us through Outdoor ED. The food was delicious. The dining hall was a buffet! This trip was fun because of my day group, the zipline, and the survival game!

My best friend, Leena was in my day group!

I will always remember the zipline!

I couldn't have enjoyed the survival game more than I did!

The number one thing that complete my trip was my day group. My best friend was in it. And all of my other friends were with me. Everyone I didn't know very well, I got to know better! We all got along. On the bus ride to the hike we were all singing with a loud, funny voice. I sang my cookie rap for everyone. Because of that, my new nickname is MC Cookies! My day group was a miracle!

 We got to sing songs!

My day group and I saw a lot of amazing things!

 Always a New Adventure

The zipline was my favorite class. I got to go twice, so I got to do plenty of what I had in mind. The walk back up was exhausting, but I got to enjoy the fresh, clean air and trees around me. The second time, I went upside down. I wish I would have let go. The first time, I relaxed and enjoyed the view. The mountains were beautiful! When I got to the end, there were little swamps below me. My big brother told me to look for starfish in the lake. Although, I was too busy having the time of my life, I forgot. Oops! I will definitely remember the zipline for a long time!

The survival game was the best! I felt like Katniss sneaking through the tall, green trees throughout the game. It felt like five minutes, even though it was 40 minutes. Since Cassidy couldn’t play because of her broken foot, she had a little fun passing out life cards. She made me dance and do pushups. At first, I was loosing life cards constantly, but I got way better towards the end. The survival game had to be the most free activity at Outdoor ED.

 Best Catch of the Day!

My Outdoor ED experience didn’t let me down. What’s better better than my best friend to be in my day group ending in my memories. It was cool to see my friends face their fears and go down the zipline. The survival game was good to be free. I loved Outdoor ED. I wish I never had to leave!
