1: Tristin Kurtz On the plane Hour 1: So exited going to D.C. Hour 2: Starting to get board. Hour 3: Dang it missed the first part of the movie. Hour 4: Holy crap are we almost there. Hour 5: Seatbelt thing is on and I need to pee. Touch Down: Finally wheres the bathroom.
2: Day 1 10:40 we left L.A.X. to Dulles International Airport. Finally I can sleep on our 3 hour trip to Williamsburg for our tour. 3 HOURS LATER. we're here in Williamsburg going to lunch at retros in merchants square. TBC | Day 1 continued Starting the tour in the church-graveyard. Then we went to see the black smith. Then came the governors house that had what looked like an armory but it was just the front room. TBC
3: Day 1 continued for the last time Later that day we went on a tour of Williamsburg but not just any tour we went on THE HAUNTINGS OF WILLIAMSBURG tour getting back to the hotel we were to exited and energized to sleep so we jumped across the beds for awhile (BAD IDEA)
4: Day 2 First stop today was an authentic glass blowing shop. Then off to the Jamestown settlement were we saw an Indian village (They were major taxidermists) and a huge ship. After the Jamestown settlement we went to the Yorktown victory center were we heard a musket being fired. Yay more sleep on the 3hr. bus ride to D.C. TBC
5: Day 2 continued 3 hours later. WE are at the old post office picking up our tour guide then we are going to the Smithsonian Institution American History Museum TBC | Day 2 continued for the last time After the Smithsonian we took a picture out side of the white house. then after that we went to see the Iwo Jima Memorial.
6: Day 3 We're going to Mount Vernon today. going through George Washington's house was cool and so was seeing his tomb. AHHHHHHHHHH WERES MY PHONE I lost it in the theater at Mount Vernon :( YAAAY we're going to the zoo to see the panda exhibit. TBC
7: Day 3 continued After seeing the lazy pandas we went to the National Cathedral were we learned about architecture, stained glass, and the significance of gargoyles. After the Cathedral we went to the pentagon memorial and the World War II Memorial
8: Day 4 First place we went today was the Arlington National Cemetery were we saw the tomb of the Unknown Soldier ( that is some sad stuff ) after going to the tomb of the Unknown Soldier we went to the Kennedy memorial. TCB | Day 4 continued Then we went to the Fords Theater were we saw the gun Lincoln was shot with. TBC
9: Day 4 continued again YAAAAAAAYYYY going to a play at the Kennedy Center to see Shear Madness. OMG the play was amazing. After the play we went to probably my favorite memorial the FDR memorial with all of the water falls and dogwood trees TBC | Day 4 continued FOR THE LAST TIME We were all to tired to go to the Jefferson memorial. NO ITS OUR LAST TIME SEEING STEVE THE BEST BUS DRIVER EVER :(((((((((((((((((((((
10: Day 5 The last day:( Oh my gosh you can see fear in the eyes of the soldiers on the Korean Memorial. It's scary. Whats even more scary is the Vietnam memorial with all of the names. TBC | Day 5 continued Abraham Lincoln 19 feet tall I felt so small standing next to it while thinking about the statue I tripped down the stairs. TBC
11: Day 5 continued again After the monuments we went to take a picture with Buck McKeon. Then we went to the capitol building for a tour.( confession: I didnt pay much attention to the tour) Next we went to the Holocaust Museum. I covered my eyes and started walking out. At the air port the trip is over. No more TBC
