FC: Having a great time in Germany! We have done a lot of walking. Germany shows you how out of shape you are, thats for sure!!! I don't like the sparkling water much... I'm drinking faucet water and people look at me strange. Miss you! See you when we get home! 2: After landing in Frankfurt we drove to Juergen's dad; outside of Cologne.
3: Rocky... the dog that barked every time Juergen moved!
4: Downtown Weilerswist. This is the town where Juergen's Dad lives.
5: Our first Water Castle... 15 minute walk from his Dads.
7: Our first experience with European stairs... I thought I was going to die!
9: Cologne Cathedral | The High Cathedral of Saints Peter and Mary. Construction began in 1248 and was finally completed in 1880.
10: Hohenzollern Bridge in Cologne | "Love Locks" are a custom by which padlocks are affixed to a fence, gate , bridge or similar public fixture by sweethearts to symbolize everlasting love. | Juergen didn't put a lock on the bridge but he did buy me water and a flower!

16: It was very cool to see the sights that Juergen had told me so much about. The first two photos are the house that he grew up in. The third is of the bears he made for a project for his first practical semester, the forth is his elementary school and the bottom four are from Switzerland. Sights from his apartment, the house he lived in and the factory he worked at.
17: Sights from Franks Frank and Tanya were gracious enough to let us stay at their house and made the best food for us!
18: We got to spend a leisurely afternoon with Steven, Marco and their sister Aylin. We stopped for "ice" and strolled through the town taking in the sites I had heard so much about.
21: Mainau is an island in the Lake of Constance . It is maintained as a garden island and a model of excellent environmental practices.
24: The picture above summarizes our time with Marina, someone was always chasing her!
34: We got to go for a wonderful hike, again! This time we were lucky enough to have Reiner join us! | Yeah! More Stairs!

66: Robert was kind enough to let us stop over while in Switzerland. He made us a wonderful meal and graciously served two wonderful wines! | Dinner with Robert, Evelyn & Nico | Zucher Klevner AOC Blauburgunder was a red and Altdorfer AOC Riesling x Sylaner was a fabulous white!

79: Almost the end of our journey. The drive up north towards Clara and her family, Kirsten and then the airport.
80: A very long drive up to see Clara and her family for a very short stay. Extremely good food, at a very nice restaurant!
