2: We did do some school... | Greek dancing class! | Lunch Duty!

3: Hanging out at the Artemis early on in the semester | Learning how to make Greek coffee | "A person needs a little madness, or else they never dare cut the rope and be free." -Nikos Kazantzakis

4: Here's to the best semester anyone could ever ask for. Through all the experiences, the Fall 2010 HUG group became some of my closest friends I met at Harding. Nothing compares to seeing the world with your closest friends. | Elinor striking a pose at the sunset at Sounion

5: "I am not an Athenian or Greek, but a citizen of the world." -Diogenes | The Parthenon and Porto Rafti harbor | Poseidon's Temple at Sounion and the Acropolis

6: "Let him that would move the world first move himself." -Socrates | Wandering around Athens and Porto Rafti | Tyler, Kari, and I in front of the Acropolis | Elinor and I devouring too much ice cream. We saw it in the menu on the first day and it took almost the whole semester to work up the courage to buy and eat it. | Ashlee and her turtle at the National Archaelogical Musuem in Athens | Darah, Keith, Nick, and I had an Organic Chemistry class reuinion in front of the Parthenon! | Kari and I taking a break from looking at artifacts for a moment.

7: There was too much to do in the few weeks we had. We tried to make the best of our time, including many trips out to the point and eating sixteen scoops of ice cream in one sitting at out favorite sea side cafe. At the National Archaeological Museum in Athens, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to chase pigeons away in the field. | Mandy and I chasing off pigeons | Kari, Sam, Elinor, Emilie, and I

8: Girls day in Athens! | Darah, Emilie, Me, Elinor, and Jessica enjoying gelato from the best gelato shop in the Plaka | Up the elevator in the merto station on our way back to the Artemis

9: "A true friend is one soul in two bodies." -Aristotle | Getting our Greece shirts | The very kind shop owner who gave us Greek eyes for luck!

10: "Happiness resides not in possessions, and not in gold, happiness dwells in the soul." -Democritus | Emilie, Sam, Kari, and Jessica in front of the Erechthion | The owl is a symbol of Athena, the patron goddess of Athens

11: Emily is very excited to sit next to Kalie | Waiting in the metro station on the way to church with the Manors | Emilie and I

12: me, kalie, and mari before we decided to try howling | "Life is an unfoldment, and the further we travel the more truth we can comprehend. To understand the things that are at our door is the best preparation for understanding those that lie beyond." -Hypatia

19: And we crossed the finish line! Thank you Monica for you encouraging words, "You can do anything for ten more seconds."

22: The best jewelry store in the Plaka. Good friends of HUG and our safe place in Athens | "Probable impossibilities are to be preferred to improbable possibilities." -Aristotle | Elinor's straightener died. It was traumatic.

23: The true Harry Potter fans went into Athens to see it as soon as we could. It was such a wonderful afternoon and a great movie | Elinor recapped the sixth book for us on the way there
