S: Our Honeymoon! 2011
The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page. St. Augustine
Upon arrival at the resort, this is our first view of the ocean as we come out of the trees. Breathtaking!
Our resort was a beautiful paradise. All the grounds were lush and green with coconut trees everywhere. We loved it!
They had this "Honeymoon" banner on our door when we got there. Woo hoo! And they left it up all week! I don't know how many times we heard, "oh, you must be the honeymooners"! Pretty funny!
 Chichen Itza
The ball court at Chichen Itza had amazing acoustics from end to end, but not from the sides, so the poppers couldn't hear what the royalty were saying. These stone carvings (left) depict the winner being beheaded. Can't wait to play that game!
Clockwise from top left: Tyler bartering for something, a view of all the peddlers at the ruins, performers at the place we had lunch, a cenote (underground river) where we got to swim, view of a street in a town, annabeth at the cenote, another view of the tree roots going down into the cenote, and the dancers at lunch. | Other Stuff We Did THAT Day
We ate at a different restaurant every night. All the food was wonderful! Wow somebody got alot of sun on their first day at the beach!
we always ordered things we hadn't tried before. some of it was um.. interesting. But most of it delicious! everything was served with a beautiful and unique presentation which really added to the experience.
We went on a zip line over the jungle that was 1,932 ft long. And REALLY fast!
A good traveler has no fixed plans, and is not intent on arriving. Lao Tzu
This Cenote was our favorite, the stalactites and stalagmites were beautiful
