25: kissing the blarney stone | BLARNEY CASTLE is home of the legendary Blarney Stone. As a long-standing tradition, kissing the stone is said to confer a magical eloquence that is also known as "the gift of the gab". The stone is set in the wall below the castle battlements and in order to kiss it, the visitor must be held by his or her feet and suspend backwards under the parapet.
