1: What was the first John Deere Model? How much horsepower does it have? | In 1914 Waterloo Gasoline Company made the first model, "Waterloo Tractor." The tractor burned kerosene for fuel and produces 12-24 horsepower. The engine was a standard 2-cylinder that produced up to 720 R.P.M.s.In 1914 John Deere decided to ask Waterloo Boy Tractors to produce John Deere tractors with there design. In by the end of 1918 Waterloo Produced 8,076 tractors.

3: John Deere (company) was based out of Milone, Illinois and founded in 1837. John Deere Originally was from Rutland, Vermont and moved to Grand Detour, Illinois. In 1837 John Opened a 1,378 square foot shop where he pioneered his vary first cast steel plow.
