3: The flight from Houston to Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands is approximately 3 hours long! | The Cayman Islands are only 100 sq mi!
4: On the Beach, I participated in many activities such as, scuba-diving, wind surfing, and surfing!
5: I spent a total of $241.70, on activities during my trip... and most of them where dealing with the ocean!
6: Despite the name of the beach, the seven mile beach is actually only 5.5 miles long!
9: Cuisine | A large majority of the food eaten at the Cayman Islands is seafood, in fact the national dish is turtle!

13: Top Five Things to-do in Grand Cayman | 1.) Go to the beach! After all, this is one of the main reasons the Cayman Islands are famous for, its crystal clear water! 2.) Visit the stingray city! This excursion takes tourists to the part of the Caribbean ocean that is home to many stingrays. 3.)Go to downtown In the down town of George Town, lies many of shops, restaurant and other attractions! 4.)Butterfly farm enclosures and displays showcasing both the birth, life and death of different butterflies! 5.) "Go to Hell" Visit a one of a kind gift shop, home to the best hot sauce in the island, if no the world!
14: The Cayman Islands were discovered by Christopher Columbus, on May 10, 1503, during his fourth and last visit to the New World. Columbus was actually on his way from Panama to Hispaniola when his course was driven off course by strong winds and he sighted the Lesser Caymans, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman. It is said that Columbus found the islands so full of turtles that they looked like rocks from offshore and he named the islands Las Tortugas, The Turtles. | Cayman's History
