S: Things we learned in New York
FC: Things we learned in New York
You CAN survive on four hours of sleep per night.
THE BIG APPLE | A Trip of a Lifetime
Memories Live on Forever | Don't take a black cab. | The "honk" on the bus, is NOT an elephant.
 Shopping... Good times
 Happy... Together
There are no trash cans. It's alright to communicate with taxi drivers. It's impossible to find a place to buy a fountain drink, but easy to find a Starbucks Coffee Shop. There are no gas stations or grocery stores.
Don't ask for a refill of Diet Coke if the Diet Coke is served in a wine glass. Purchase ALL tickets on-line, ahead of time.
Don't make business calls when standing in line for the Empire State Building. | ALWAYS carry a Book of Mormon in case someone wants to know more about the gospel.
Mickey Mouse, Elmo and Sponge Bob live in the subway under the Olive Garden on Time Square. | Don't point at a store across the street while standing on a curb. | Don't stand over a subway grate if wearing a skirt...you might show more than you want. | Wearing black is always in...however, Martha prefers bright colors.
You can get lost in Macy's Department Store. | The Eiffel Tower is NOT in New York.
When you think you recognize someone, acknowledge them by saying, in a seductive voice, "hello" | Never pay full price for a name-brand purse. Don't worry about following a guy with a box full of purses to an unpopulated area.
Always take a bigger suitcase, but do not exceed your 50 lb. limit. Avoid stress in packing for the return trip by taking an empty carry-on with you before you leave home.
Neosporin is not a substitute for toothpaste. Underwear is optional under pj's. When you're last to fall asleep...you hear and smell too much.
New York is a "girls only" destination.
