ATVING | Leaving from Mountain View Cabins with our buddies..... | September Labor Day Weekend 2011 | Dirt | Mud | Fun
Hi Brucie! | Moose Pond | Caution Traffic! | So many trails... | Bruce and Donna brought the map-they were the navigators. What a crucial piece of information! It was our lifeline to find our way back. And don't forget the water.... and no you can't bring SODA it'll explode.....
Steep grade | Trails to discover | These are places that we rode! We were trying to go on EVERY trail | So little time.......
Does it look like we are having fun yet? | That's me- What am I doing? Going potty? Yup, hope I don't have toilet paper stuck to my boot.....
Hey Shirlene we see you in the potty! You didn't drop your phone did you?
The terrain we rode - was exhilarating! The first time Bruce took Craig up to Shatney Mountain-they looked at the map UPSIDE DOWN and got lost. But, they found their way back
We didn't see any real sign of wildlife-no moose... | We found some mud | good thing we stayed in a place with running water...... we could rinse off the mucky stuff when we returned each day.
We stopped along the river while it was misting and had a nice lunch and took a bit of a rest. | We were riding on some of the roads that cars were on. You had to keep your eyes open and pull over for cars to pass by.
We went to Young's Store to get lunch before we left our cabin. And made sure we had a full tank of gas
This was at Lake Francis State Park. We saw some people kayaking and it was one of the places that we took a break at. It wasn't far from our cabin and Donna took Aunt Ginny for a ride over at the end of our day. It was peaceful.
The water was calm | Hi Craig!what are you thinking? | This was a big lake | Hey what are you looking for in there? | Lake Francis
A serene place to think and eat... | Danger-thin ice? Wow it must get cold at night huh?
We couldn't get thru a trail and a kid came out with a chainsaw and cut down a few trees. That was Yankee Hospitality for sure | We rode to the top of Prospect Mountain
The views span three lakes. It was a nice ride to get to this place. It was beautiful. | Craig are you tired? Do you need to take a nap? Are you having fun?
Rae & Ed in the lead | wide open trails | Me & My Honey | We rode all day. Even in the rain, it was FUN
MUDDY | MUCKY! | This was the entrance to the CHAINSAW trail. We had heard that lots of people had to use their winch to get out | NOT today...We weren't feeling experienced enough to go on that trail. We got in enough mud on the trails as is
Mud | More Mud | Puddles | We all followed Rae and Ed and they liked going thru the mud
Fun in the Mud | Adventures | AWESOME..we felt BAD TO THE BONE. We never thought we'd be this adventurous and like it.... | lift up your feet
We weren't gonna let a little rain ruin anything. Eat your snacks for energy Ride On
Get on your raincoats and lets head on down the trail | It was cool to ride with Linda and Stuart
 Cabin in the Woods
a rustic spot for hunting and resting | Rae is wringing out her sweatshirt | Ed, thanks for bringing us to this place | The wood stove was going when we arrived. We got to dry our clothes - kinda..... | Brucie are you really gonna use the potty?
It poured WICKED before we arrived at the cabin. And I mean WICKED. We even had thunder and lightening too. See this was us before the accident...
Homeward Bound | Stuart prepares to operate.... | Craig tripped over the foot peg and really gave himself a BIIIGGG boo-boo. It seemed it took about a month to heal. Have Shirlene kiss it to feel better. | ouch it hurts | more ice please
Are you keeping up ok? Are we going to fast for you? | You never know what Shirlene is going to do....
We were on our way back to our cabins. we had lots of fun and can't wait until we do it again.
Mountain View Cabins It was a great location for on and off the trails. All the comforts of home. Cheap and clean-it was awesome. The water was HOT and the beer was COLD | Young's Store was full of activity | We had a nice porch to gather for cold beverages in the evening
We ended our ride at Young's Store-where we started. We all vowed to do it again. Despite the rain, we all had a great time. Going thru the MUD actually was FUN..... Thanks | we got a little muddy | We were tired from riding
