FC: Thailand 2011
1: The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page. St. Augustine | Even though, our flight was delayed. We still made it to Thailand with new friends. This is our very first picture in Thailand with our buddies from the airport from Minnesota. They were returning home for the summer break.
2: I got to spend my 19th birthday in Bangkok at Mahidol University.
3: We made Thai food with The Mahidol Students
4: Shopping in the River Market | We went shopping on a river where we discovered the power of bargaining.
5: We discovered that elephants were main design in handbags, and other accessories.
6: Before we started our presentation at UNESCO.
7: This is after the UNESCO presentation. Thanks to the wonderful people who taught us about their branch of the UN.
8: We stayed in the V hotel in Downtown Bangkok. We spent our downtime with the students of Mahidol.
9: We had a nice dinner on a river with the students of Mahidol.
11: Chiang Mai | Our homestay in Chiang Mai was amazing. We learned so much about our homestay mother and her family. Our homestay family not invited us into their guest space but also their own home. We mingled and spent time with them. On our way to the homestay, we stopped by a waterfall.
12: We stayed in Rainforest Hotel in Phuket. I had an amazing mango milkshake.
13: We enjoyed many foods in Thailand. These are just few new dishes that we got to try!
15: We spent time at the beach with the students from stay in Phuket. I believe this was our second day at the beach because our first visit to the first beach was by surprise because we finished early.
16: We volunteered in Phuket with these wonderful kids. I believe that was one of our favorite parts of the Study Abroad.
