BC: Aiden's Visit with Aunt Cynthia and Uncle Jimmy in Washington State July of 2011

FC: The Great Outdoors | Aiden comes to Washington state!

Seattle Center | When I arrived it was a clear, sunny day. Just perfect for taking in the view from 605 feet up in the Space Needle.

On the observation deck you could walk around for a 360 degree view. It was fantasitc!

It's a clear sunny day with a great view of Mt. Ranier!

The Pacific Science Center had an exhibit called GOOSE BUMPS. You could test out your fears. | Will I put my hand in there with those creepy giant cockroaches??? | I can't believe my Aunt Cynthia would hold one of those things!

In the tide pool exhibit at the Pacific Science Center I got to touch sea anemones and starfish. | The sea anemones have sticky tentacles that close up when you touch them. They feel slimy too.

I'm not that much of a dinosaur enthusiast, but my Aunt Cynthia likes to take a lot of photos. | How scared of being shocked am I? Hmmm...

There was a cool exhibit that projected your shadow on the wall - along with the shadow of a lion stalking you! If the lion touched your shadow you would dissapear!

I got to experience what it was like to be in a space capsule. I could even hear the recording of a real NASA space mission.

I got strapped into the "drop machine" to test my fear of falling. | I watched a video of my reaction to a sudden noise. | It was cool seeing the big buildings outside looking through the periscope. | There was a cobra snake too.

On Saturday we head up to Hurricane Ridge in the Olympic Mountains. It is incredible up here!

I can't believe how friendly all the little creatures are up here. The "camp robber" jay took the cracker right out of my hand!

Wow! This deer is eating right out of my hand! Amazing!

Aunt Cynthia was starting to get annoyed about us clobbering her with snowballs.

It's the end of July and here I am having a snowball fight with my Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Cynthia.

You can't go to the Olympic Peninsula Peninsula without visiting Twilight country! Aunt Cynthia lives about an hour's drive from Forks, Washington.

Next we're off to First Beach in LaPush, Quileute Indian Nation.

The Pacific Ocean is freezing cold, but Aunt Cynthia dared me to go in.

 The Great Hike

We're on our way to Marymere Falls and then Lake Crescent.

This trail is full of enormous old growth trees! | We went up a forest trail, through a tunnel and lots of big trees and climbed up until we reached...

The short 1 and 1/2 mile hike uphill was well worth getting to the beautiful waterfall! | ...the Falls!

 Marymere Falls

Before kayaking in the lake I take some time to enjoy the ducklings | Eating at Granny's Cafe

I can hardly wait to get out in the lake on my own kayak!

There was a ton of fun stuff to do at the Great Wolf Lodge... arcade games, the sweat shop, the MagiQuest and of course, the water slides!

This vacation just keeps getting better and better! We got to go to the Great Wolf Lodge!

 Wow! This place is awesome!

After all the activities we needed some time at home to relax, play games, watch movies and of course eat! Tomorrow back to Arizona!
