1: History In 1874, Heroin was created to be a cure for those addicted to Morphine. It was then soon noticed that Heroin produced addictions rather rapidly, and was soon made illegal. In 1897 Heroin was synthesized by Felix Hoffman, at Bayer Pharmaceutical. This would be the beginning of a world-wide addiction.
