S: The Cardell's Journey

BC: To be continued.....

FC: Our Journey

June 20, 2008 | At our 20 year class reunion

LOVE | Good Times | The first movie we watched together. | June 12... Patrick, Tommy & I went to Jamie Knoys to watch the Lidell vs. Franklin fight. Liddell was knocked out in the first round. This was the first time Patirck & I said I Love You. | June 4

R.I.P. Roxie | Jan. 30, 2010 | July 2, 2008 | Jan. 12, 2012 | Roxie got hit by a car and killed on Hwy 9 while I was on a trip to DC for work. Dad was keeping Spike & Roxie & they got out of the fence. Spike came back & Dad said he knew something was wrong by the way Spike was acting. Once I got home a week later, I picked up Spike & drove to the spot on the hwy where she was hit. Spike was looking out the window whimpering, like he knew that was exactly where he lost her at. My hyper Ms Roxie will be severely missed.

August 26 | I wanted to do something romantic for Patrick so I made us dinner and dessert and set us up a spot on top of the rock quarry. I framed a picture of myself to give him as well. I had it all planned out for us to watch the sun set but he had to run to Muskogee and didn't get to the quarry until 10:30 or so. Needless to say... I was kinda ticked so I sat and watched the sun set by myself. I finally got over being mad at him & we sat and looked at the stars and talked. He was very sorry for being late and very appreciative- said no one had ever done anything like that for him before. Once we got home I rushed out and put candles on the hot tub and rose petals around it. It ended up being a pretty good evening after all.

 At the Rock Quarry

On our way to Beggs to eat at Chef Lehreaux's restaurant, Magic Acres Steakhouse.

Nothing is sweeter than the joy felt by a heart in love. When you've found the right one, life seems to take on a more meaningful direction.

Molly was born on November 19, 2010 and given to us on December 22 by Dean who works on Keen 22. She was so tiny and so cute when we got her!

 Our 1st Christmas together...

Day 1 | December 30, 2010 I left for St. Louis at 12:30 and got to the hotel at 7 pm. Patrick arrived at 8:30. We went to Longhorn Steakhouse for dinner and afterward we stopped by the Arch.

Day 2 | December 31, 2010 We slept in then got around and went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast/lunch. Afterwards we went back to the Arch so we could tour the museum and ride the tram to the top.

Us at the top | Inside the Arch was SO high up! We are both afraid of heights but we're glad we did it. Once we left the Arch we decided to go to the room to take a nap but instead we ended up searching for things to do for New Years Eve.

 Best Friends

We went to a restaurant named "Lotawata Creek" in Fairview Heights, IL which was right beside the comedy club we went to called Comedy Ect II. At the restaurant Patrick ordered the Hillbilly Royale Sandwich which was absolutely MASSIVE! It had 4 eggs, an 8 oz boneless pork chop, almost a half pound of bacon, American & Cheddar cheese with sausage gravy on thick buttery toast. Needless to say he had to take most of it to go...

Patrick and I at the Comedy Club. We sat on the front row and saw a guy named Charlie Wiener. He was really funny. His opening acts were Aaron Brooks and Johnny Kavanaugh - who were also great! | Charlie Wiener

Day 3 | We slept in because the people across the hall were "very" noisy & we hardly slept at all. We got up around noon and decided to go to a movie. We went the the Chase Park Plaza and saw "The Fighter" with Mark Wahlberg. It was a really good movie about the boxer "Irish" Mickey Ward's unlikely road to the world light welterweight title. After the movie we were headed to eat at Iron Barley but it was closed. While driving there we passed Sweetie Pies, which we had been calling every day to see if they were open. They were both closed for the holiday. We decided to go the "The Hill" to look for a restaurant. We ate at Charlie Gitto's and it was absolutely amazing!!! I had a filet topped with lobster & bernaise sauce. Patrick had the lasagna. They were both to die for! We will definitely be going back!

 Our first car purchase... | 2011 Hyundai Elantra | January 8, 2011

January 14 | Patrick and I met up in Rolla, MO for the weekend. We stayed at the Super 8 Hotel. Once we got everything unloaded we went to dinner at Matt's Steakhouse. It was really nice and the food was excellent!

January 28 | Patrick came home the weekend of the 28th because he had court on the 31st. I had a cookout on Friday and when I got home Patrick had left this note for me taped to the entryway into the kitchen.

March 8 | Isle of Capri | The cake Patrick made me for my birthday.

 Road Trip To Pennsylvania

March 11 | We decided to stop in Memphis and eat at Rendezvous because it had really good reviews. We both ordered the rib dinner. Patrick thought it was really good but I wasn't impressed at all!

After eating at Rendezvous we headed to Graceland. It was beautiful at night the way it was all lit up. Patrick and I both signed the rock wall. We really wanted to tour it but it was closed. | GRACELAND... Memphis, TN March 11 | August 26 | I wanted to do something romantic for Patrick so I made us dinner and dessert and set us up a spot on top of the rock quarry. 27: We wanted to eat at Chap's because it was one of the places Guy Fieri visited & he gave it great reviews. Patrick ordered the "Big John" which had 5 meats and I just ordered the pit beef sandwich and some ribs. The food was excellent! | Chap's Pit Beef Baltimore, MD March 12

March 20 | We went to visit Patrick's mom and dad in New Jersey. Ernie cooked breakfast and we visited for a couple of hours. I really enjoyed meeting and spending time with them. Patti pulled out the old family pictures and we had a few good laughs looking at some of them. | We found this pizza place and ate lunch before heading to New Jersey. It was SO good! Best pizza I've EVER had hands down!

March 22 | We stopped by Geno's Steaks on our way to the airport for lunch. It is a Philadelphia restaurant specializing in cheese steaks, founded in 1966 by Joey Vento. Geno's is located in South Philly at the intersection of 9th & Passyunk Ave. we thought the sandwich was ok but definitely not the best we've had.

THE ROCKY STATUE One of Philadelphia's most famous pieces of public art is a bigger-than-life monument to a celluloid hero. The fictional Rocky Balboa of Sylvester Stallone's Rocky movies was immortalized in bronze in 1980. After filming for the movie completed, Stallone donated the statue to the city of Philadelphia. The statue is located at the bottom of the stairs at the Philadelphia Art Museum. | THE ROCKY STEps

At first, Brian Renegar told me that he had started into kidney failure but he thought he could bring him out of it and he would be alright. About 4 hours later I got a phone call saying all of his organs were shutting down and we needed to put him down. Very, very sad day for me.
