43: ~VOWS~ Lauren before I knew you I loved you and I believe you are 100% percent perfect for me; you are all that I never knew I needed. I believe you are God’s provision for me; His means of grace that enables me to be more like Jesus. I believe your love, friendship, and commitment is meant to show me just how much God loves me, And finally - I believe that I have better dance moves than you. Kris, you were the man in my dreams before I met you and I believe God has equipped you to uniquely speak to the deepest parts of my heart as a woman, I believe that fun, laughter and adventure is essential to a thriving marriage, I believe our marriage is meant to reflect the joy and passion of God’s heart, And finally - I believe sometimes it’s important to let you think that you are a better dancer that me. I, Kris, covenant with you, Lauren to learn how to serve and love you like Christ loves His church, to never stop forgiving you because Christ never stops forgiving me, to always assume the best in you, to listen and fight for your heart, to remind you of your worth, value and beauty, and ultimately point you to Jesus; I covenant to say yes to God’s great adventure for our lives – to be on mission together wherever He calls us and to do whatever He tells us - for His glory and impact on those around us. I covenant to pray over you, to encourage & give oxygen to your dreams, and to fan into flame your God-given gifts; I covenant to honor you with my words and only have eyes for you; I covenant to be vulnerable with you, to share with you my deepest longings and desires and finally – I covenant to laugh with you and wrestle you – allowing you to win just once. I, Lauren, covenant with you, Kris, to highly honor who you are and the great impact God is crafting you for, to deeply respect everything about you and to joyfully submit to you as the spiritual leader and visionary for our family; I covenant to never stop forgiving you because Christ never stops forgiving me, to always assume the best in you, to listen to you, stand with you and fight for you, to remind you of your strength in weakness, and ultimately point you to Jesus; I covenant to say yes to God’s great adventure for our lives – to be on mission together wherever He calls us and to do whatever He tells us - for His glory and impact on those around us. I covenant to pray over you, to encourage & give oxygen to your dreams, to fan into flame your God-given gifts; I covenant to be vulnerable with you, to share my deepest longings and desires, and to receive you completely because of God’s grace over our lives; I covenant to laugh with you too. All that I am is yours and all that you are is mine - This is my covenant before God and His church.

91: To our friends and family What a journey this has been - and what else can we say? A simple 'thank you' cannot express our sincere gratitude for the years of love, friendship, time and prayer each of you have poured over us - even on this day. We are the result of a faithful, forgiving God, demonstrated through many of your lives towards us. May our marriage display God's passion and love - wherever we go - whatever we do. We believe our primary success in marriage is first established in, on and through Christ Jesus; along with the people He has placed in our lives. Since today is only the beginning of our journey, our thanks to you comes with this request: please continue to pray, love and encourage us in our marriage - that we would be more like Jesus. We want our lives to reflect that God truly is so much more than we could ever ask, think or imagine... Lauren and Kris
