FC: Matthew & Rebecca Honaker

2: I will love you forever

3: The Greeting: We are gathered here today to celebrate one of life's greatest moments, to give recognition to the worth and beauty of love, and to cherish the words which shall unite Rebecca and Matthew in marriage. Message on Marriage: Rebecca and Matthew, in the days ahead of you, I ask you to reflect on this marriage advice: Let your love be stronger than your anger. Learn the wisdom of compromise, for it is better to bend than to break. Look for the best in your beloved rather than the worst. Confide in your partner and ask for help when you need it. Remember that true friendship is the basis for any lasting relationship. Give your spouse the same courtesies and kindnesses you bestow on your friends. Say "I love you" every day. Declaration of Intentions: Matthew, do you take Rebecca to be your wedded wife? Do you promise to love her, comfort her, honor her and keep her, and forsaking all others remain loyal to her as long as you both shall live? Matthew: “I Do” Rebecca, do you take Matthew to be your wedded husband? Do you promise to love him, comfort him, honor him and keep him, and forsaking all others remain loyal to him as long as you both shall live? Rebecca: “I Do” Vows: Matthew, please repeat after me: "I, Matthew Honaker, take you, Rebecca Heiser, to be my wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and health. I will love and honor you all the days of my life." Rebecca, please repeat after me: "I, Rebecca Heiser, take you, Matthew Honaker, to be my husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and health. I will love and honor you all the days of my life." Blessing of the Hands: Matthew and Rebecca, look at the hands of your best friend you are holding on your day of marriage. As you promise to love each other for all the days of your life, your hands are young, strong and full of passion for each other. These are the hands that will passionately love and cherish you through the years, and with the slightest touch will comfort you like no other. These are the hands that will hold you when fear or grief fills your mind. These are the hands that will countless times wipe tears of joy and sorrow from your eyes. These are the hands that will tenderly hold your children. These are the hands that will help you hold your family together as one. There are the hands that will give you strength when you need it. These are the hands that will wear your rings. Lastly, these are the hands that even when wrinkled from age will be reaching for yours at the time of your last parting. Ring Passages: The wedding ring is the outward and visible sign of an inward and spiritual bond, which unites Matthew and Rebecca, two loyal hearts in endless love. As often as you see these rings, you will be reminded of the promises and vows that you have here made to one another, and the eternal love you have promised one another. Rind Exchange: Matthew, please place the ring on Rebecca’s finger, and repeat after me: "Rebecca, I give you this ring, In token and pledge, As a symbol of all that we share, With my constant faith, And abiding love." Rebecca, please place the ring on Matthew’s finger, and repeat after me: "Matthew, I give you this ring, In token and pledge, As a symbol of all that we share, With my constant faith, And abiding love." Introduction of the Couple: What therefore God hath joined together, let no man put asunder. Forasmuch as Matthew and Rebecca have consented together in holy matrimony, and have witnessed the same before God and this company and have pledged their love and loyalty to each other, and have declared the same by the joining and the giving of rings, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride! Presentation: Ladies and gentlemen, friends, family, loved ones; it is with great pleasure that I now introduce to you for the first time, Matthew and Rebecca Honaker.
