HOTEL DEL CORONADO The first day we drove down to San Diego. It was very humid and overcast but the sun came out later in the day. | TUESDAY

After we walked around the hotel some, we went down to the beach for Christopher's first time on the West Coast.

WEDNESDAY | DEL MAR HORSE RACE TRACK

After watching quite a few races we each made a few bets on horses. We ended up winning $fourteen dollars. | CLOSING DAY | We joined the Diamond Racing Club so we got into the track for free.

We ate at a beach front restaurant called Poseidon. We had an amazing meal while watching another sunset. Afterwards, we walked on the beach. | We spent most of the day at the horse track. Then we went back to the resort to change clothes and get ready for dinner where Christopher made reservations.

 FANCY DINNER

We spent the whole day laying on the beach and boogie boarding only a few blocks from our resort. | THURSDAY

We got back to the resort to find ourselves in a power outage. Since we had no food and no where was open, we decided to drive north to find power. We had to drive all the way to LA. We ate at Pizza Hut and drove back.

The power came back on in the middle of the night but Friday morning we woke up early to drive to the Mexican border to go horse back riding on the beach.

We were the only ones who signed up for the morning ride so we got to ride through the waves and trot. | FRIDAY | TIJUANA, MX
