2: He grew up with 9 siblings. Father Earl Little was run over by a street car at the age of 41yrs. old by a white man. (1931) Father's death and the repeated abuse he received as a child caused him to become extremely insecure. | Malcolm Little
3: Growing up he chose a life of crime rather than a life he his father would've wanted. He also neglected his African American heritage many times and at many points wanted to be white. | Malcolm X

5: El Hajj Malik El- Shabazz | Imprisoned for robbery (1946- 1952); while there he converted to the Muslim faith. During his time of incarceration he preached the Muslim word to other prisoners. Following his release he founded the Organization of Afro-American Unity and Muslim Mosque Inc.
6: "Be peaceful, be courteous, obey the law, and respect everyone; but if someone puts their hands on you, send them to the cemetery " | He idolized Elijah Muhammad He made numerous speeches speeching on civil rights, racism, and religion. Malcolm was a very vibrant and used colorful language and was not quick to hold his tongue on any topic. He continued his career as a civil rights activist and an active man of the Muslim faith until his assassination on February 21, 1965 while giving Manhattan's Audobon Ballroom.
