4: "Play Hooky Day" - August 22 While our counterparts began a new school year, KARE hosted a reception to welcome new retirees to the world of retirement.

20: February | A great turnout for the Valentine's Silent Chocolate Auction and for the speaker on Estate Planning

21: Joyce did a great job of organizing the chocolate auction benefiting the scholarship fund.......over $250 was raised

22: March -- a very busy month | District members meet to fill goody bags for the state convention | a small fraction of the goodies for the bags

25: Nestled amid the rolling hills of Grimes County in Anderson, Texas, about 20 miles northwest of Washington-on-the-Brazos, Fanthorp Inn stands as a wonderfully preserved example of a 19th century stagecoach inn. Lunch was at Martha's Bloomers in Navasota.
