14: Hands-on Learning builds brain connections | We Love Workjobs! | Practicing sight words | Fine Motor Practice | Learning our classmates' names

15: Storytelling | Silent Reading | Reading Charted Poems

16: Workjobs are our way of practicing literacy skills. We are learning independence, self control, and teamwork as well as becoming great readers! | Building CVC Words | Listening to Fluent Reading

17: Making Giant Pumpkins! | We practiced working as a team and sharing!

18: Firefighters Visit Our Class!

20: Students learned Not to be scared of firefighters in their gear.

21: Stop, Drop & Roll

22: Mr. Alstad comes to our class for a visit! He read the story Skeleton Meets the Mummy to us.

24: Designing and Cleaning our Jack-o-lanterns! | We worked in teams and learned about compromising to come up with how we thought each jack-o-lantern should look. Mrs. Paulsen carved them for us.

25: We decided to give the jack-o-lanterns away after we used them at our party. They went to the Missouri Slope Care Center.
