BC: A gift to Fox Valley Animal Welfare League from PACT Humane Society

FC: PACT Adopted Cats from Fox Valley Animal Welfare League 2009

1: Thank you to all those who every year save the lives of thousands of homeless animals giving them a second chance at having a home and family.

2: D'Artagnan 4/11/2009 | D'Artagnan's new mom had always had orange tabbies all her life and had been looking several months for a new one to call her own. He warmed right up to her and it was almost as if he knew he was going home. His new Mom was so excited to have finally found her new kitty.

3: Cindy Lou Adopted 4/24/2009 | Cindy Lou 's new mom had been looking all week and fell in love with her shy, but sweet personality. When Cindy Lou started licking her hand as she was petting her, she knew that was it! Her new mom is looking forward to many happy years with her.

4: Casey Adopted 5/9/2009 | A nice man had been looking at Casey all week long. He lost his cat to kidney disease a year ago and has been looking for the perfect cat to replace his companion. He just loves Casey's playful purrsonality. She will be very happy in her new home!!

5: Gerald Adopted 5/25/09 | Gerald was adopted by a nice lady who has been visiting with him for awhile. She was looking for a buddy for her resident cat and Gerald seemed to be a perfect match with his easy going and playful personality. Gerald will have a big room all to himself, full of new toys and things any kitty would love.

6: Ella Adopted 8/5/2009 | Ella had been visited by her new Mom for a couple of weeks. Mom went on vacation and could not wait to get back to her.We visited for about an hour or so and Ella went home to a wonderful woman with a lot of cat experience. Ella will have a full family Mom, 16 year old brother and an 8 year old sister. What fun!

7: A family with two teenage kids and a dog adopted Eden. Well, actually it was the dog, Sadie, who adopted Eden first. The two were a very good match. The family fell in love with Eden as well and two hours later, Eden was on her way home. | Eden Adopted 7/5/2009

8: BlueBelle Adopted 3/7/2009 | Bluebell went home with a very nice family. They have been preparing for a while for a new addition to their family and they all decided that Bluebell was perfect. She will have three kids to play with and a whole house all to herself because they don't have any other pets besides fish.

9: Geneva Adopted 3/8/2009 | Geneva, our jet black 2 year old was adopted by a sweet young couple. They were taken by Geneva's playful spirit. They in fact, played for over an hour. Geneva certainly will have her paws full with entertaining these two!

10: Garbo Adopted 5/3/2009 | Garbo our sweet one year old was adopted by a wonderful couple today. Garbo was his sweet lovable self and stole their hearts right away! They all left the store with a loaded cart of toys, furniture, etc. This is going to be one spoiled kitty.

11: A very nice young couple recently lost one of their kitties to illness, and their surviving kitty Wiley has been very lonely. They felt that Fergie will be a perfect match for Wiley and they would both get along great. They left with Fergie and lots of new cat things! | Fergie Adopted 2/28/2009

12: Emma Adopted 5/9/2009 | Emma was adopted by a single woman who fell in love with her even though Emma was having a very rare "off" day and wasn't her normal outgoing self! The woman has a young adult male cat at home who looks very much like Emma, so she will have a companion!

13: Iggy Adopted 6/7/2009 | Iggy arrived and by noon the same day, he had already found his new mom and dad. Iggy is quite a talker and Momsays he called out to her. He will be one of three extremely spoiled kitties. Ironically, Iggy's new brother had been adopted from the exact same cage 11 years ago.

14: Rosco Adopted 5/1/2009 | Roscoe, the mild-mannered orange tabby, worked his way into the hearts of a young family. Mom, dad, and their young girls fell in love with his friendly nature. They eventually want to get another kitty, but are starting with one young cat.

15: Thor Adopted 3/29/2009 | Thor, our big orange & white tabby 8 year old was adopted today by a young lady with a 12 year old kitty. She has been in getting to know him for about a week. Thor was on his best behavior today and loved being petted and played with!

16: Simon Adopted 4/18/2009 | Simon went home with a lady who adopted another from us last year. Sadie picked Simon as her new brother because he was also walking on a leash just like herself. They laid together on the couch and talked to each other while their mom was filling out the paperwork.

17: Kitty was adopted by a young woman and her mother who have a small dog. They have been in to spend time with her for several days, and she would flip on her back for belly-rubs. Kitty and Rocky (the dog) saw each other through the glass door, so we're hoping they will become good friends! | Kitty Adopted 7/21/2009

18: Lily Adopted 4/11/09 | Lily went home with a lady and her 13-year old son. They hadn't had animals before because the woman's ex-husband did not want pets. The son picked out Lily. The mom was hoping he would pick Lily, because Lily was her favorite. She will be very loved. They are calling her their "Easter Lily".

19: Yumi Adopted 4/25/09 | A young woman who had visited a PACT cat, Pepper, in his foster home came in to see soft and sweet Yumi. She decided that she preferred Yumi's low key personality to Pepper's 'interesting' nature.

20: Lily was adopted at one of PACT's off-site adoption events. She will live with a single lady and no other cats. Lily stole her new mom's heart by being her affectionate self and sitting in her new mom's lap. | Lily Adopted 4/18/09

21: Theo Adopted 7/8/09 | A nice family with a fondness for large cats noticed Theo on the internet and inquired about him. After meeting him they decided to adopt! Theo will be an only pet and will get all of their attention. His new family was very excited to take him home.

22: Venetian Adopted 5/31/09 | Venetian, our cool black kitty was adopted today by a nice young lady who is a vet tech at a local animal hospital. Venetian will get some quality time as she already has an intended beau at home, Ernie, the resident cat. Hopefully, Ernie and Venetian will hit it off! She already did with her new mommy and family.

23: Magic was with PACT for 2 years and was finally adopted by a nice couple who had been looking for a lapcat for a year and half. Magic won them over with her quiet demeanor and affectionate nature. Magic will have a house to her self and lots of new toys and plenty of love. | Magic Adopted 5/30/09
