FC: PACT Adopted Cats from Golf Rose Animal Hospital 2009

1: Thank you to all those who every year save the lives of thousands of homeless animals giving them a second chance at having a home and family.

2: Sander Adopted 4/5/09 | Sander was adopted by a family that had come in to adopt another cat who was already in the process of being adopted. Let's just say that Sander chose them, being his sweet self and winning them over! He is going to be so spoiled, and will have a kitty friend and 2 dogs to play with!

3: Riku & Malika Adopted 1/30/09 | Riku and Malika were finally adopted tonight by a nice single man. He was very anxious to get them to their new home and spend the whole weekend with them to help them get used to their new surroundings. They went home with tons of toys and a very happy guy!

4: Dirk &Avery Adopted 5/17/09 | Dirk and Avery were adopted by a really nice family (mom, dad, daughter). They were experienced cat owners, but have no cats at the moment (they lost one to cancer and one to a stroke), so the boys will have lots of room to themselves!

5: Haribo Adopted 5/30/09 | Our 3-yr old sweet Haribo with a lion mane went home today with a young lady from Downers Grove. She came to visit another cat, but fell in love with Haribo. Haribo will have a new feline friend, Oliver, to play with. Just like Haribo, Oliver loves other cats, so this sounded like a good match.

6: Fritz Adopted 5/31/09 | Fritz never made it to a cage at our store. At an adoption event where he was attracting customers for us, he was spotted by a couple who came to the event looking for a dog. Needless to say, they left with a cat. Fritz will live in Chicago with two other boy cats.

7: Latika was adopted by a PACT volunteer. She had been thinking of adopting 2 other cats, but when Latika arrived, she bonded instantly with another cat, Silas. They couldn't stop playing with each other and giving each other kisses. Silas and Latika went home with a cart full of supplies. They will be very spoiled! | Latika Adopted 8/9/09

8: Aaron arrived at the store and found his new Dad the same day. What luck! This lucky guy will find a lot of fun in his new home. His new Dad lives alone and was looking for the right companion to play, watch T.V. and lounge around. Aaron should be very happy. | Aaron Adopted 8/27/09

9: Lillian Adopted 11/9/09 | Lillian will be a very spoiled cat. Her new Mom is retired and spends most of her time at home. She fell in love with her sweet and quite nature, but was very happy she was still playful.

10: Mac Adopted 7/9/09 | Mac has found his family! A mother and 16 year old daughter fell in love with Mac. They arrived 30 minutes before adoption hours to make sure they were first in line! Mac will find living with Sugar the resident 5 1/2 year old dog a breeze with his laid back attitude!

11: The super playful, super sweet gray/black tabby named Jake found his forever home. A fantastic couple who has another cat that needed a friend came in. Jake was their man!! He strutted his stuff and sealed the deal!! | Jake Adopted 11/15/09

12: Myles Adopted 2/28/09 | Cuddly & easy going Myles captured the hearts of a young Mom and her son. They were so excited to start the adoption process, recently their 23 yr old cat passed away and they really missed having a kitty.Once they met Myles, they knew he was exactly the kitty they've been looking for!

13: Dina Adopted 4/25/09 | Dina, the sweet black & white kitty went home to a couple with 3 young kids. They had been visiting her during the week & were waiting to get that paperwork out of the way!! At home she is as sweet as can be and has the littlest meow. They can't imagine their family without her.

14: Adelle Adopted 3/31/09 | Sweet, shy Adelle went to her forever home today. She is going to live with a great couple who have one other middle aged cat (Rikki). The couple has visited her a few times at the store & just didn't want to wait until weekend adoption hours to make it official. Her new name has already been chosen, Sabrina.

15: Toews Adopted 3/1/09 | Toews, one of the "Blackhawk" kittens, went home with a nice family with two kids. Toews will have another cat, 1-yr old Nolan to play with at home. After about 2 days Nolan and Toews are playing, hiding in laundry baskets waiting for the other to pop around the corner. Everyone is very happy.

16: Roschelle Adopted 2/28/09 | Sweet & laid back Roschelle was a perfect fit for an elderly lady and her daughter. She had been looking for a long time and absolutely fell in love with Rochelle. They were a perfect fit! The lady is so happy, saying that Roschelle is her new best friend. Roschelle loves to curl up and nap on her bed.

17: Kaelyn Adopted 5/15/09 | Kaelyn's family fell in love with her while visiting on Mother's Day. They recently lost their elderly cat to kidney failure. They brought both of their dogs in and each visited with Kaelyn. She was very playful, which is what their younger dog needs. She'll be very spoiled in her new happy home!

18: The young playful pair of Keely & Talya went home to a young married couple who wanted a cat for their one year wedding anniversary present! The wife said, "Well, how about two cats, since I got you two concert tickets for our anniversary." How could the husband say no?? What a nice match up. | Talya & Keely Adopted 4/25/09

19: Roderic Adopted 2/7/09 | Roderic, our beautiful Russian Blue mix did not last long at the store - he was adopted by a nice older woman who was looking for a new friend to join her and her dog. She and her son and granddaughters loved his sweet nature and his talking - he is very vocal! He will have lots of family members giving him lots of attention!

20: Sharp Adopted 3/14/09 | Sharp was adopted by a nice family who was looking for a new friend. They have one other cat and also an older dog. The family was looking for a cat who has a lot of energy and they sure got one with Sharp. Their other cat is named Moonlight, and they are pretty sure they are going to call Sharp "Starlight". She will be a spoiled kitty.

21: Kyan Adopted 10/24/09 | Kyan went home with his new family. Mom & Dad had been caring for their daughter's cat for the past year and now that the cat was gone (daughter took the cat back) they found their home was missing a cat! They just loved Kyan's loving and cuddly nature. He has the whole house to himself to play & nap in.
