3: On my way to Taba, Egypt.... | Because I was living in Dusseldorf, I chose English vacation packages so that I would be in a place used to English speakers. Unfortunately, that also meant that I had to fly through London for each trip to Egypt! Welll--not so unfortunately! The first trip, I went on a job interview at O2, and then hung out in London for part of a day, my hotel was near some major train station. Had a big walk about the town on the search for snorkel gear. Finally found a place...go figure just outside the Covent Garden train station (my favorite) and not 50 feet from the door! Great Naniwah dinner and back in the hotel to veg before the flight tomorrow!
4: Covent Garden, London is a large open air market with cover featuring handmade jewelry, clothing, foods, etc. They put it on everyday, from what I can tell. Just down the street from here is theMicrosoft London HQ, and Naniwah noodles...yum.
