4: Egypt | 1) The Nile River provides fertile land when river overflows. 2) Egypt of mostly made up of a desert. 3) Most of the people are polytheistic. 4) Egyptian people use hieroglyphics, or pictures for writing. 5) People do the mummification process for preserving the body for the afterlife. 6) The mummification process itself, takes up to 70 days to do. 7) Pharaohs rule as kings and are seen as gods. 8) The Nile River flows South to North. 9) The highest class of people were the Kings and Queens. 10) Egypt's capital and largest city is Cairo.
6: India | 1) India is located between the Indus and Ganges River. 2) The Himalayas are just to the north of India. 3) India is considered a subcontinent because it is isolated. 4) India has its major buildings in the center. 5) India was the beginning of the Hindu culture. 6) Most of the people of India are polytheistic. 7) The Indian language is written and can be called Sanskrit. 8) India has planned cities on grid systems. 9) Most of the people in India were merchants, farmers, or tradesmen. 10) People made jewelry, game pieces, and toys for their children.
8: China | 1) China is between the yellow( Huang He) and the Yangtze River. 2) China has the Himalayas to the South. 3) The Gobi Desert is located in the North part of China. 4) The ancestors of China usually bring blessings or curses. 5) The families of China are usually central. 6) Most of the buildings in China are wooden. 7) The Chinese saw their culture as the center of the civilized world. 8) The highest class of people were the scholars and officials. 9) The most common religion was Buddhism. 10) The China calender is represented by animals for months.
