7: Turkey Recipe 1. Thaw turkey in refrigerator. Take out neck. Take out other things in brown bags inside turkey. It is inside stomach. 2. Salt turkey inside and outside. 3. Put water in baking pan (about half full). Place turkey on rack in baking pan and let steam on top of stove. Around 15 minutes. 4. After cooking for 15 minutes, put turkey in a large oven bag. Add more water to pan if needed. Poke holes in lots of places around top of bag. 5. Bake in oven at 350 degrees until done. Cooking time is 15 minutes per pound of turkey. 6. After turkey is done, cut open bag so turkey will brown.

9: Ham | Buy Spiral Ham that is already cooked. Place ham in a big roasting pan. Put water in the bottom of the pan. Cover with aluminum foil. Bake until it steams, around 20 minutes.
10: Alma Bussey | Cornbread for Dressing | 2 Cups - Buttermilk Cornmeal. I use White Lilly. | 1/4 Cup Oil - Canola Oil any brand | 1 Egg | Spray Pan - I use olive oil cooking spray | Combine in order above and stir well. | Pour in sprayed pan and bake 30 minutes at 350. | Cool and slice. | 1 1/4 Cup Milk
11: Dressing | 1. Crumble corn bread in large bowl. Cut up one onion and celery in small pieces and saute in frying pan. 2. Add 1 Tablespoon of sage and 1/2 tablespoon of poultry seasoning. Cook until done. (approx. 10 minutes) 3. Put all of #2 in bowl with cornbread. 4. Add some old loaf bread toasted and crumbled or buy Herb Seasoning stuffing. About 1 cup. 5. Add canned chicken broth. Enough broth to make it stir easy. About 2 cans. Keep adding until consistency you want. 6. Spray pan and pour ingredients into pan. 7. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 to 45 minutes. 8. Cool and slice.
12: Get 2 medium sized Sweet Potatoes and cook all the way through. To test to make sure they are done, make holes in them and if they are done they will be soft. Take peeling off potatoes and spray a casserole dish with Pam or Butter. Put the potatoes, one stick of butter, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 egg and a sprinkle of salt in a mixing bowl and beat together until the potatoes look like a mashed potato consistency. Add one teaspoon of vanilla and a sprinkle of cinnamon. If it is too thick, put in some milk. Put in casserole dish and bake for 20 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Put marshmallows on top and stick in oven for a few minutes. When marshmallows are puffed up, it is ready. | Sweet Potato Casserole
15: Cream Corn | Buy frozen cream corn and put a little butter in it if it does not already have it. Put in microwave until it starts coming apart. About 1/2 minute. Put in a pot and add salt and pepper. Warm for about 15 minutes. | A Favorite
16: GREEN BEANS | Put Green Beans in a pot. Stir in some Olive Oil and Butter. Let it come to almost boiling, then turn down and simmer.
19: Alma Bussey | Boil noodles and drain. Put 3/4 stick of butter over hot noodles and put in casserole dish. Mix together one egg and 1/2 cup milk. Pour this over the noodles. Mix some shredded cheese and salt into the noodles. Put some cheese on top and cook at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes. | Macaroni & Cheese Casserole | Mac N Cheese
21: Butter the tops of the rolls and put in the over at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes.
22: Deviled Eggs | Buy eggs 2 or 3 days ahead. Put in cold water and let sit for 5 minutes. Then let them boil for a few minutes and turn to low and let cook for about 10 minutes. When you drain the water, let them sit in cold water. Slice eggs in half. Take Yellow out. Mix a little bit of Southern Home Sweet Salad cubes and then put mayo in until it mixes good. Then put salt and pepper in.
24: BROWN RICE | 1 1/4 Cup White Rice 2 Cups Medium Chopped Onion 1 Can Campbell Beef Bouilon 1 Can Campbell Beef Consomme 1 Stick Butter or Margarine | Melt butter in large frying pan. Put in Onions. Stir while browning the onions on medium heat. Pour the 2 cans of soup over the rice in a 8 x 10 Pyrex baking dish. Pour the butter and browned onions into the soup/rice. Cover with tin foil tightly. Place in 400 degree preheated oven. Bake 1 hour and at the last 5-10 minutes, uncover. Stir rice and dry in oven. Serve immediately.
27: Gravy Cover bottom of frying pan in oil. Let it get hot and shake in some self rising flour. Stir until the flour dissolves. Mix in some milk and water. Turn down when it starts boiling. Stir it until it gets thick. Shake in some Salt and Pepper.
29: Green Salad | 1 Pkg. (3 oz) Lime Gelaltin 2 Cups Boiling Water 1 Pkg. (3 oz) Cream Cheese 1 Cup Chopped Pecans 1 Large Can Crushed Pineapple Drained 1 Small Can Evaporated Milk Dissolve Gelatin in water. Add Cream Cheese and stir until dissolved. Add Nuts, Pineapple and Milk. Refrigerate until set.
30: Fruit Salad Peel desired amount of apples and chop up. Add Bananas, Raisins, sugar (small packet), Mayo and Chopped Nuts. Mix together.
