FC: Mrs. Hall's Budding Botanists
We are using Microslide viewers to learn about how seeds travel. Seeds have a cover to keep them safe from stuff like rain, animals and people. - Megan | We are looking at the seeds and making observations. I learned that seeds can travel by the wind and by attaching to other things. - Emesh
We found leaves at home and brought them in to AIM. We then picked the leaves we wanted to use to put on our shirts. | We are putting leaf prints on shirts. First you paint the leaf. Then you put the leaf down on the shirt and rub it. Next you carefully take the leaf off to show the print. - Lindsay
Our class was on the Internet and found something about plants and trees. So we made a journal to share what we learned from our "Walk in the Woods" - Adrian

We are creating raised gardens for our vegetables and herbs.
We are using 1/3 peat moss, 1/3 vermiculite, and 1/3 compost. We don't have to dig up the ground all we do is clean out all the rocks and place newspaper on top and then add the mix. We can't wait to plant.
