We created and conducted a survey that indicated student needs. | 170 completed surveys were turned back in. | 8

WEBSITE! | The website is available to students and parents. Anyone with an account is able to join and see posted updates about the group. | 9

The Results Are In! | Surveys were conducted and given out to male and female students in all grades. We made graphs with our results to help show the area of concern more clearly. | Is depression a problem? | 10

Males or Females fight more? | The results showed that the main focus is communication problems we have at FPC. We are here to help the small amount of guidance counselors take on the large amount of students. | 11

Presentations have been created and presented to resources at our school so there is a better understanding of our project. | We received training from Ms. Delane and her peer mediation group at our school. | 12

We met with the seven guidance counselors at our school and two assistant principles including Mrs. Pearson and Mr. McCarthy. They all have been useful resources in our project. | 13

The First Meeting | A game was played to show how important communication is. Everyone linked hands and the goal was to end up in a circle. | 14

Meetings are now held twice a month on Tuesdays. We have our own room to use after school and two adult sponsors to attend. | 15

Stand Up Against Bullying | 208 students signed

A poster for anti-bullying made by Bulldog Buds was available for signing during lunch. This shows how many different students of all backgrounds are coming together to show their support against bullying.

Victoria Sanita I am a Sophomore at FPC and this project isn't just a grade to me. The project reaches me on a personal level. I know how a lack of support feels and how hard it can be with no one to turn to. It's hard, even harder, than many can imagine. When you have something going on at home or being constantly made fun of, it helps a lot when someone is there to talk to. Just talking about problems helps me, so creating this group just might make a difference in even one person's life and it will be worth it. | Danielle Conklin From the start of my high school career I always wondered who I'd have to help me out. After going through two years, I've noticed the lack of support we have at FPC. This year I'm determined to help out anyone who needs something at any time. As a Community Problem Solver my goal is to put our plan into action. | Avery Anderson I am currently a sophomore attending Flagler Palm Coast High School. I have known people who suffer with depression, and I would like to help others. I want to make a difference in the lives of many. Our goal is for us to establish an after school group/club dedicated to students that need help or have questions about life. I am here, not to tell people what to do, but just to steer them in the right direction. I will listen intently, and be a friend to anyone who may need one. Our organization is based on personal and memorable times that we have gone through. | Our Ref | 18

Kyrah Wynn I am in my sophomore year at FPC and I never saw myself doing anything like this. I know that everyone might reach a point of depression in their high school years with stressful classes and drama at home. This may lead to them not being comfortable enough to share with others. I would be interested in helping students who suffer with depression and family situations. I will always want to help in any way I possibly can.. | Adrianna Laforest Hello, I am a junior, and since the beginning of my high school career i noticed many distraught kids who have often turned to violence. I started taking a community problem solving class when i realized that i wanted to find a way to help kids in need. Many teens around our school deal with some pretty heavy stuff and they just keep it all bottled up. I want them to be able to trust us enough to let it all out. So hopefully this project will brighten teens lives. I also hope it will continue in the future. | Jennifer Henry I am a senior at FPC and I do all that I can to help others; whether they know it or not. Throwing away garbage some one left in the hallways or helping a friend when they are down, I try my best to make things better or deal with the problems at hand. I am excited to get this project started! Hopefully our goal will be reached. | lections | 19
