FC: Will You Read When You're Older? | By: Sarah Yoder
For my ENGL 1103 inquiry project I chose to research our predicted future reading habits. I was inspired by my grandmother who is 92, legally blind, and still manages to read.
Once upon a time there was a middle school girl named Novelle who enjoyed reading.
 Middle School Readers
However, when she entered high school she found she still enjoyed reading, but had become distracted with other activities.
College Readers | But with college came even more activities and she forgot all about her books.
As time went on Novelle got a job and a family, therefore having even less time to read.
 Adult Readers
Once retired and empty-nested, Novelle did not know what to do. TV shows bored her and Facebook was old news. Luckily, she still had her books. And with them she lived happily ever after.

Do our grandparents read due to a cohort (generational) difference or because they have more time? Will you read when you're older?
 Both. Yes.
