1: Good Job Maika | If you are sitting criss cross applesauce, your hands are on your lap and you are listening to this book... You are already on your way to being a great kindergartner! This is the first thing to learn in kindergarten. It's easy! Just listen to your teachers. | Joey has lots of buddies in in school! Joey is a nice boy!
2: Your teacher might say, "GIVE ME 5" | Ashaud, Hannah and Brenden can do it!
3: So can you sit criss cross applesauce and give your teacher five? If you say, "Yes," you are on your way to being a GREAT Kindergartner! | If you shout out, your teacher might not hear what others have to say. You need to be respectful and listen to others. | Give me five
4: Do you know how to sit in your chair in kindergarten? It is easy. All four on the floor. (That means all four legs of the chair need to touch the floor.) | NOT OK | YES OK
5: Let's go out to recess and play with our friends! When we go to recess, we can have fun and be safe. We can make friends with the other kindergarten students!
6: Crayons are so important in kindergarten. It is nice to share but you need to take care of your own crayon cup. Don't break them. Just take one out at a time and you won't lose your crayons. You need to be responsible!

13: This is our very important behavior chart. LOOK! Everyone is on GREEN! That is being a GREAT Kindergartner. | You might forget some things that your teacher taught you and you may have to turn your card to yellow. YELLOW is a thinking card. I will think and follow the rules. If you forget again, you will have to go to RED. Then you will have to miss some recess or center time.
14: In Kindergarten, you learn how to take your turn. You will get to be star of the week too, but you have to take your turn. You will love being a STAR. Hailae Did!
15: If you want to learn to read and write, you need to meet LEON! LEON is our kindergarten friend. He will help you with all the letters of the Alphabet. | ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz
16: Time to line up for lunch. | Your eyes are looking at the teacher. Your hands are by your side. Your voices are off. Cold lunch first...then peanut butter kids. | greatness!
17: Mr. Nick runs a clean business. Will you help him by cleaning up your spaces?
19: Great lines!! | The bell rang. So we line up right away.
20: A quick restroom break and then we'll have some rest time. | Thanks for waiting quietly. Kids are learning in their classrooms. | BOYS | GIRLS
21: WOW! Kindergarten is fun but you must be very tired? Let's have some rest time before we have math and specialist. | Just Chillin'
22: Hey, don't leave me hanging...what is next in our busy day? | Our teachers make counting fun. Let's make patterns.

24: Assembly days are great at Audubon School. Mr. Glaser makes sure that people come to our school and share their talents with us! YOUR job is to be a great listener. R E S P E C T When Mr. Glaser busts out his dancing CD's... We get to see his great talents!
