Proper attire is mandatory and all loose attire and articles must be secured.

Safety goggles must be worn at all times regardless of the experiment. Students must be appropriate and responsible while in the lab to minimize any mishaps.

Students will be handling chemicals in the lab therefore certain techniques must be known. Students should NEVER taste anything, they should NEVER smell anything directly and they should NEVER touch anything with their bare hands. If there is a waste that is created or an accident that occurs, students should notify the adult and/or lab technician immediately.

There will be extra goggles in the lab for students that may forget theirs. Here are some rules to always remember: no eating in the lab, always wear safety attire, if you need help, notify an adult and/or lab technician immediately, no horse playing in the lab and always follow directions.

Cleanliness in the lab is a MUST. Keep the work area clean and clear of clutter will assist greatly in minimizing the risk of error. Students are REQUIRED to keep a neat, organized and clean work area when they are in the lab AT ALL TIMES.
