3: Facts about Llamas The color of llamas varies from black, white, brown,and gray. The llama is known to spit if threatened. Llamas are very social animals and live together in herds. Males are called bulls. Females are called cows. The name given to a baby is a calf. Llamas are quirky animals that make humming noises and hate to be alone.

18: Read a bed time story to your child that you enjoyed when you were a little child. Explain to them that you loved this book when you were little and that you wanted to share it with them.
19: Decorate a pillow case with your liitle one. You can use an old pillow case or an inexpensive one from the store. Lay out fabric markers and fabric paint and let your little one go wild.
20: Milk and cookies are a favorite bed time snack. Bake cookies with your child. The children can stir, add chocolate chips and put the cookies on the baking tray. Adults use the oven. Then enjoy the cookies together when they are cool.

23: Many children have difficulty with nightmares and night terrors. Going to sleep may be scary to them and their imaginations tend to get in the way of a good night's sleep. Give your child a small spray bottle of water and label it "Scare-Go-Away" or something else creative. Tell your child that you will spray it together every night to keep his/her room safe from anything creepy or scary. Make a fun game out of the spraying, having your child point out spots in her room that are particularly creepy at night.
24: If your child is afraid of the dark and therefore wanders through the house at night looking for you, let him/her keep a flashlight on his bed. Show him/her how to make silly shadows on the ceiling with his flashlight. You can also show him/her how to do Morse code, flashing his light in a series to make a secret code. Allow your child to sleep with the flashlight on as long as they need to and keep it near his/her bed so he/she can reach for it in the middle of the night if he is to wake up.
