1: Millennial??? Barely!!! Only by 41 days since Mrs. Dyer was born on February 10, 1982. | Mrs. Dyer grew up in Ridgecrest, North Carolina, a very rural town, playing with Barbie dolls. | In elementary school, her class visited the computer lab once a week to play computer games like Oregon Trail and Number Munchers.
2: Does she have the Millennial Characteristics? Some! | Optmistic! Mrs. Dyer likes to look on the bright side of things! | Goal Oriented! Mrs. Dyer sets realistic (and sometimes unrealistic) goals for herself! | Hopeful, yet Determined! Mrs. Dyer hopes for the best but finds a way to overcome obstacles with determined perseverance!
3: Diverse! Mrs. Dyer accepts diversity with open arms and hopes to bring her own sense of diversity into the world! | Global, Civic, and Community-minded and Service Oriented! Mrs. Dyer considers the needs of others before she considers her own! | Techno-savvy?!?!? Not nearly as much as she would like! She is working on it! By the end of YOUR project, she hopes to know more!!!
4: Millennials Believe.... 1) Education is good. 2) Integrity is admirable. 3) Parents are role models. 4) The younger you are the more you know. 5) All information and the world is just a click away!
5: What does Mrs. Dyer believe? 1) Education is still the most important thing in someone's life. However, there is a changing face of education that teachers must recognize and FIGHT to keep up with. 2) Integrity is the most important leadership characteristic that can quickly be lost! 3) Her parents helped to raise a strong, confident, well-rounded woman, with strong morals. They are role models in life and in their loving relationship. 4) Although she was taught very differently growning up, she can understand how the younger individuals seek to find the answers to the unknown. 5) While information is only a click away, Mrs. Dyer believes that you still have to experience the world by living!
