S: A New School Year
FC: Question 6 | What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product? | This photo album will show and tell the variety of technologies I used during the production stage of the making of Torment.

2: Hardware | Hardware is a general term for equipment that can be touched/held by hand. (Wiki)
3: Camera | This was the device I used to record or take pictures of myself and other members in my group using equipment and participating in the making our film. From this technology I have learnt that the setting of a camera's shutter speed can effect the outcome of how your picture will look like..I also learnt how to steady and be focus on what i want.
5: 3rd | This was the main equipment/technology we needed to record our film. Without this equipment the would be no footage. Before this project, I had already used a videocamera several times therefore it was not much of a new experience for me. Yet, I still needed to learn how to keep the videocamera still to stop the footage from being shaky. Also I learnt how to stay focus on the important action rather than trying to cramp everything in the frame. | Videocamera
6: Since we did not always have access to a camera . I had to sometime rely on my phone to take pictures and record some of our group discussions. For example when we were planning our music. From this I learnt that I was able to edit pictures on my phone without uploading them on a computer. So this equipment was very helpful. | Zoom Mic | Phone | This was the device we used to record the voice-over for the narrative part of the film. It was pretty much self explanatory on how to use this equipment however uploading the content was difficult and I had to learn how do this.
7: Lighting was an important factor in this project. This meant that I had to learn how to keep the lighting kit on top of the camera without complications. Also I had to learn how control the amount of light needed when we were recording.

9: Peace! | This software was highly important especially during my research and planning stage. Through this software I collected all the data I needed to enhance my knowledge and understanding of the thriller genre. Also through this software I was able to search for past students works and learnt how they presented their ideas and their overall films they created.
10: New Friends! | 4th | I only used photoshop once throughout the entire project. I used this software to edit the shambla that we used for the title sequence.. To me this was one of the most complex software I ever used, so I definitely learn alot from it. From this software I learnt that through photoshop I was able to delete any background that you do not want, also you are able to airbrush images to your own perfection so that it clear. | Photoshop
11: Alexia | This is software/hardware was used to store my work on it. Without this I would not be able to have saved my work and retrive it again.
12: Youtube was the software that I used to watch all the films that I analysed and to watch other students final production. Before, this project I had never uploaded or analysed a video on youtube. And this project required me to learn how to to develop these skills to answer an evaluation question.
13: Final cut is the software that we found motion and through motion we created our title sequence. This was my first time ever using this software , so once again I did indeed learn alot from this software. Such as learn how to make titles to zoom in and out, how to make titles blurry and how to extent the timeline. | F i n a l c u t
14: Honor Student | Scribd is a document sharing software that I used to upload powerpoint presentations onto my blog. Without this software I would have been able to directly upload it onto my blog. From this software I learnt how to embed documents from one software to another.
15: Science Class | Garageband, which is a music or podcast creation software , was what me and other members of my group used to create the music we planned to use for our film. From this software I learnt how to mingle two types of different sound to produce music. Also I learnt how make changes to peoples voices.
16: Play Time | The entire Microsoft office became of important use for me in completing this project. Whenever we needed to create a presentation I would use powerpoint, all my essays were typed onto word and lastly when we wanted to present our collection of data in charts we used excel. Each one of these software taught me something new. From the powerpoint software I learn how to add animation and transition on to a slide, from the word document I learnt that how to save printscreen as images and lastly from excel I learn how to produce pie charts.
17: VS | Both outlook, Yahoo and facebook was my source of communication that I used to contact other members in our group to arrange meeting and to send group work around. From these softwares I learnt that emails can be sent to many people at the same time also I learnt how to upload images and to have group conversations on facebook.
18: Imovie was the software, that I used to edit our film. From this software I learnt how split footage, how to use edit footage's lighting and lastly how to edit shaky footage.
