1: Eat your heart out ! | Grade 5 has been learning about healthy eating. We have created our very own book of delicious , healthy recipes for you to enjoy.!
2: Ingredients 2 x 200g salmon fillets, skin on 2 x medium sized potatoes, peeled and quartered 2 bunches of asparagus, trimmed with ends removed 1 teaspoon butter 1/4 cup of milk 1 pinch of parsley, chopped finely salt and pepper 1 lemon, halved | Directions 1. Place potatoes in a pot of cold water, bring to boil and simmer until potatoes are cooked (about 10 mins). Drain away the water and place in a bowl. Add butter and milk and mash potatoes until all lumps are gone. Add parsley, salt and pepper with a squeeze of lemon. Stir to combine. 2. Heat a little oil in a pan. Add fish, skin side down and cook for 1-2 mins. Once skin is crisp, turn over and cook for another 2 mins. 3. Blanch asparagus in salted boiling water for 2-3 mins. 4. To plate, place mashed potatoes in the middle of the plate. Top with asparagus and fish.
