1: Smacznego! | No one ever cooked quite like the Lisowski, Pease & Wrazen family. That is when it came to traditional Polish cooking. This book is tied to so many great memories. The hope is for you to carry them on through the generations
2: Ingredients 6 lb hamburger 1 lb ground pork 8 eggs 2 handfuls of parmesan cheese - salt & pepper 1 handful of dried onion flakes 2-3 tbsp. dried parsley 1 red & green pepper 1 onion diced 1 28 oz can tomato soup 1 28 oz can crushed tomatoes 1 28 oz can of diced tomatoes 28 oz of water (Note start off with 14 oz and add as necessary) 1 - 3 tbsp. of basil - oregano - garlic - sugar - red pepper flakes 1 -3 c of seasoned bread crumbs | Directions Sauce - combine water, soup, crushed & diced tomatoes in med. stock pot. Add parsley, garlic, basil, oregano and sugar to taste. Add diced peppers and onion with a pinch of hot red pepper flakes. Let sauce simmer and allow ingredients to combine. Patties - Mix ground beef & pork, bread crumbs, eggs, dried onion, parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. Make hamburgers into patties and fry 1/2 way on each side. Next place burgers into stock with sauce and let simmer for 20 -30 mins. Note; add water to sauce as needed if sauce thickens to much- makes about 35 -40 patties | Barbecue Hamburgers
3: YESSSSS BBQ HAMBURGERS!
5: French (Polish) Stew | Ingredients 3 lbs Stew meat 3 tbsp. flour 1 tsp. thyme 1-2 tsp. salt & pepper (Add more if necessary) 2 cups red wine sherry 15 small onions 15 small baby carrots 15 cremini mushrooms 2 cups beef stock / bouillon | Directions Preheat oven to 325. Using a stock pot layer stew meat on the bottom of pot and begin browning with the stove top on all sides. (use small amount of butter if necessary). On the side mix 3 tbsp. of flour - thyme - salt and pepper. Mix / add over meat. Add 2 cups of beef stock / bouillon. Be sure to mix flour throughly to ensure no lumps. Lastly stir in 2 cups red wine sherry and cover and place in oven for approx. 2 hours. After meat should be smooth and tender with sauce properly reduced.. Wash and rinse vegetables and chop as necessary adding to stew for the final step. Cover and place back into oven for approximately 1 1/2 hrs. Serve with Mash potatoes and or over rice.
6: lads | Ingredients 2-3 lbs of chuck roast 1 can of mushroom soup 1 envelop of lipton onion soup mix 1/2 - 1 tsp oregano 1/2 to 1 pound of potatoes 1 bg whole baby carrots | Directions Preheat oven to 350. Trim roast and then place roast in roasting pan. Add Lipton soup mix, mushroom soup and oregano. Place into the oven for approx 1 - 2 hr depending on size of roast. Add cut potatoes and or mashed potatoes and carrots for sides Salt and pepper to taste * Alt recipe calls for cooking in crock pot for 6-7 hour flipping meat occasionally Then add cut carrots and potatoes about 4 - 5 hours into cooking | Chuck Roast

8: Potato Pancakes | Ingredients 2 lrg potato's peeled 1/2 -1 white onion 1 egg 1 tsp Salt 1 1/2 tbsp all purpose flour 1/2 cup of ice cold water vegetable Shorting for frying *Yields about 12 | Directions Note for best consistency use old fashion thin grater. Grate onion and potatoes into separate bowls. Pour all excess water out of onion and potatoes then combine into mixing bowl. You will need to move quickly as potatoes will oxidize and turn grey. You do not need to be concerned they are still perfectly good to eat if this happens. Add 1 egg. flour and salt. When adding flour you do not want it to get too pasty. Put shorting in frying pan (Should fill to 1/4 inch depth). Note just before you form pancakes sprinkle in cold water no more then a tsp at a time (This is used to help cool potato mixture giving it a crispier finish). Using a tablespoon form 2 - 3 inch circles about 1/4 inch think. Allow to fry on each side for 3 - 5 minutes. place on paper towels to drain off excess grease. Serve with sour cream, applesauce or sugar.

11: Macaroni & Shrimp Salad | Ingredients 1 1/2 lb frozen tail off medium shrimp 1 lb elbow macaroni 1/2 btl italian dressing 1 btl miracle whip 1 - 2 tbsp of dry onion 1 - 2 tbsp chives 1 small onion Celery - red pepper - shredded carrots optional Salt & pepper - optional | Directions Thaw frozen shrimp in med size bowl. Next Boil macaroni until fully cooked. Strain and place macaroni in large mixing bowl. With macaroni in bowl add italian dressing until evenly mixed in. Dice onion (Celery, Pepper & Carrots optional) and add to mixture. Next add miracle whip until mixed with macaroni forming a yogurt like consistency. Add dry onion and chives to macaroni and mix. Then add thawed shrimp. Finally add salt and pepper to taste.
13: Cheddar Baked Scalloped Potatoes | Ingredients 1 can. cream of mushroom soup 1/2 tbsp of paprika 1/2 tbsp black pepper 4 medium baking potatoes 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese | Directions Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a small bowl combine soup, paprika & pepper. Next clean and cut potatoes into a quarter inch thinly sliced pieces (Makes about 4 cups). Then in a greased 2 qt baking dish arrange potatoes in overlapping rows. Sprinkle with cheese. Spoon soup mixture over cheese. Bake covered with foil for 45 minutes. Then uncovered for 10 minutes or until potatoes are fork tender.
14: Baked Beans | Ingredients 1 can lima beans 1 can butter beans 1 can bush's pork & beans 1 can chili beans 1 can white kidney beans 1 lb bacon 1 large onion diced 1 cup ketchup 1/2 cup brown sugar 2 tbsp dry mustard | Directions Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Next cook bacon until crispy, cut into pieces. Using small amount of bacon fat sauté diced onion. Drain all the beans (Except bush's pork & beans). Reserve liquid. Mix bacon, onions & beans together. In a separate bowl mix ketchup, brown sugar & dry mustard add to beans then mix in bush's beans. Put mixture into casserole dish, add some reserved liquid to keep mixture moist. Bake 1 hour adding reserved liquid as necessary to keep beans moist while baking.
17: Homemade Apple Sauce | Ingredients 4 peeled - cored apples & cut in to quarters (Granny Smith, Golden Delicious, Mcintosh) 1/4 cup white sugar 1/2 tsp cinnamon 3/4 cup water | Directions In a saucepan add water, apples & sugar. Cover and cook over medium heat until apples are tender. Add cinnamon to taste. May need to mash apples with fork to gain consistency.
18: Ingredients 2 lb extra lean ground beef 1 large onion 2 can tomato soup 2 beef bouillon cubes Basil - to taste Thyme - to taste 1 pkg frozen mixed vegetable or frozen soup vegetable mix 1 cup pasta of choice 1/4 tsp garlic salt 1 tbsp salt & pepper | Directions Brown ground beef and large onion in soup pot, season with garlic salt and pepper. Drain off excess grease from pot. Add tomato soup and using the empty soup cans add 4 cans of water. Add bouillon cubes season with basil and thyme to taste. Simmer until flavors are combined (Approximately for 30 minute). Add frozen vegetables simmer until vegetables are tender. In a separate pan cook pasta al dente'. Add pasta to soup, mix and serve. | Hamburger Soup
20: Desserts | Ingredients 1/2 bx. graham crackers 1 cup sugar 1 stick margarine, melted 2 tsp. vanilla 3 eggs 1 lb. cottage cheese 1 lb. cream cheese 1 pt. sour cream | Directions Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix graham cracker crumbs, 2 tbsp of sugar & margarine (Melted) in bowl mixing thoroughly. Press mixture firmly and evenly on bottom of square 9x13 inch pan. Bake 10 minutes. Cool. In small mixer bowl, combine cottage cheese (strained), cream cheese 1/2 cup sugar, 1 tsp vanilla & 3 eggs (unbeaten 1 at a time). Beat until creamy, about 1 minute. Pour into crumb-lined pan. Bake for 20 minutes and let cool for 1 hr. While cooling mix sour cream, 1/3 cup sugar & 1 tsp vanilla. Spread on cheesecake then bake for 10 mins at 375 degrees. Cut into desired portions after cooled. | Old Fashion Cheesecake

23: Monkey Bread | Ingredients 4 packs pillsbury buttermilk biscuits cut in fours 1 cup sugar 1 1/2 tbsp cinnamon 1 to 1 1/2 sticks of butter | Directions Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place cut biscuits in ziploc bag adding sugar then toss. Next add cinnamon once sugar has coated biscuits. Grease a fluted tube pan with cooking spray. Fill pan with biscuit mixture. In a saucepan heat butter. Pour over biscuits. Bake for 40 minutes or until golden brown and no longer doughy in center. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Turn upside down onto serving plate. Enjoy! | When adding Cinnamon add slowly to ziploc bag. | HELPFUL HINT:

It has a little bit of sugar and just a pinch of spice. Its made up of all different ingredients that makes it just nice. A dash of energy, a sprinkle of joy, a half of cup of love made for every girl and boy A dash of laughter, a cup of fun, a pinch of smiles and now were done Now I know how people think and a mistake please don't make.
