FC: Spread Your Wings
1: Dedicated to children anywhere & everywhere
2: All children need someone to admire. No matter how old they are, they will always need someone they can trust. As a parent you should be that person. You can start building trust at a young age. Ever notice how babies will lean to the person they want to be helped by? Usually it's the person they are most attached to or comfortable with. To win over a child's heart, the best way to go is just playing with them. Be their active partner. An active partner is someone who can bond with them and be their friend. It's good to show that you are committed to your child's learning. All children learn from playing. A good place to play is outside! There are so many things to do outside. Unstructured play is allowing kids to learn things on their own through playing. Children are very curious. When they see a purple flower they want to acknowledge it, know why it's purple, know how it got there.
3: When children ask you those questions they are showing initiative, trying to learn for themselves. Sometimes they'll even be creative and come up with the answers on their own. They may not always make sense, but it'll give them nice creativity if you give them a chance to make up their own story. The way a child learns ethics in respecting other people is through play. While they play with others they learn empathy. They begin to understand how other people work. Children need to be able to understand how you as a parent is and be responsive. Not everyone feels the same about a situation. Unstructured play allows kids to be creative, learn about others, and build trust with their families.
