6: Native American Indians We studied many tribes, made crafts, decorated totem poles, used beads, and painted scenes. We also madE journals for each tribe studied.
9: Goldfish Tim bought fish for a Cubbies lesson, and then decided to let the kids keep them. What a great teaching tool.
10: We feed fish at the zoo, measured our wingspan and listened to a zookeeper report on penguins. | We also studied creatures and plant life of different parts of the world. Each child gathered facts, recorded them and shared with the class what they had found.(opposite page)

21: Community Life Group We joined a group at church this year with 5 other families. We went on field trips, participated in service projects, and the kids had a chance to exercise each week. The students also practiced public speaking, and were able to enjoy many fun group events.
