S: Nelson Family 2010
BC: January -Amy made Timmy an Elmo cake for his 3rd birthday. We found out we're having a boy. February -We move in with Grandma & Pa on February 13th. Aunt Melissa made Cori a Barbie Cake. The older three kids start at Diamond Path International Language School. March - The trips back and forth for Jeff continued, as well as many doctors appointments. The kids did well with all the changes that were thrown at them. April -Nathan competed in the Pine Wood Derby. Andrew turned two, Aunt Emma made a balloon cake. Noah was born. May - Noah and Amy came home from the hospital. Papa Nelson and Grandma Nelson came for a visit. June - We came back to Bemidji.Aunt Rachael made Nathan a Baseball Cake. July - Sam had a Harry Potter Birthday Cake. And there was one more surgery for Amy. August - We went on our first family camping trip with Honey and the Westland family. September - School started! All of the kids have really great teachers! October- Noah began to roll over! Nathan and Cori began piano lessons. November-Kids decided to get Dad a very special birthday surprise. Rachael made Jeff a cool Nintendo cake. Timmy is officially potty trained! December- Will be awesome!
FC: Nelson Family Alphabet 2010
1: A is for Andrew. Andrew turned two this year and became a big brother. He loves trains and singing songs. This year his favorite song is "Families can be Together Forever".
2: B is for Baseball Bats. The kids had fun playing baseball this summer. They played in the yard and Nathan and Sam played on teams. Nathan loves baseball so much that he had a baseball birthday party this year.
3: C is for Cake. We had a lot of fun cakes this year. Everyone picked what they wanted for their birthday. And we had a Ducky cake at the party that we had when all the kids found out they would be getting a new brother.
4: D is for Daughter. Cori turned seven this year and is loving second grade. She is a great big sister and helps with the little ones.
5: E is for Everyone that lives in our house.! We love having our whole family together. There are six amazing kids in our family. This!picture is from Jeff's birthday.
6: F is for Family and G is for Grandparents. We love when we are able to spend time together. We have the best family ever, and more people that we love than we can fit on one page!
7: H is for Hospital, Home, Healthy and Happy. When Noah Ronald was born he weighed 5 lbs. 6 oz. We were so happy to bring him home from the special care unit at Children's Hospital ten days later. He is healthy and growing quickly! We are so happy to be home together in Bemidji!
8: I is for Infant. Noah may be the youngest but he is making it clear he will not be an infant for long.
9: J is for Jokes and K is for Kids. The kids love telling jokes that involve crossing the road. "Knock, Knock? Who's there? Why did the Chicken cross the road? Because it's his birthday!"
10: L is for lawn and M is for Mower. We love our new yard but it is a huge area to mow. This year we were so glad that we were able to get a riding lawn mower to try to keep up with the lawn.
11: N is for Nate the Great. ANd O is for Oldest kid! Nathan is now in the 4th grade and doing really well. He is enjoying piano lessons and loves to be outside whenever he can. He has learned to be very responsible and is a great example to all of his younger brothers and sister.
12: P is for Pine Wood Derby and Q is for Quick. Nathan's first pine wood derby car was very quick this year. Nathan had fun making it, but the best part was definitely racing it.
13: R is for Reptiles | Cori and Sam had fun holding a skink and snakes at the science center.
14: S is for Sam. Sam is six years old! He is in the first grade and is very smart. He knows how to read and likes to do math. He loves to play video games any chance he gets, especially Lego Harry Potter!
15: T is for Turtles and Trains. Timmy had fun looking at the turtles and Tom even helped him feed them. We also went on a train ride with our cousins. Everyone had so much fun!
16: U is for U-haul. We rented a U-haul because we had so many things to bring back to Bemidji. We even had the kids' beds to bring back after staying in Apple Valley from February 13 - June 4th. Getting little Noah here safely was quite an adventure for our family. We are so grateful for everyone that helped us through this adventure!
17: V is for Valentine's Day. This was the day after we arrived in Apple Valley for our very long visit!
18: W is for Water. We went to the headwaters of the Mississippi River, Noah waited in his stroller while the kids waded across the river. | X is in the word eXplore. After we played in the water the kids had fun exploring the hiking trails.
19: Y is for Yellow. Yellow is Timmy's favorite color. He loves making people happy. So picking yellow flowers for people is the perfect pastime for three year old Timmy.
20: Z is for the Z button that is found on the Wii remote. One of our family's favorite things to do is play the Wii. That is why this year for Halloween we decided to bring it to life as we became the cast of SuperMario Bros. | Jeff- Goomba, Amy -Yoshi, Nathan -Mario, Cori- Princess Peach, Sam -Luigi, Timmy - Boo, Andrew -Wario, Noah -Yoshi's egg
