FC: The Mystery of the Stolen Pancakes By: Skylar, Ella, Ursula and Kimmie

In order to protect all who read this evil tale of thievery, betrayal, and misery, we suggest that you read this book of terrors in a secluded and private area. Thank you for your cooperation.

"I heard a scream coming from Amanda while I was shopping. Something sounded fishy so I rushed over. Pancakes stolen! I had some suspicions of suspects and was ready to solve another riveting case." -Detective Russian Girl | A message from our detective | Sorry, but to conceal and protect our detective we must not let you see even a photo of her. But we can tell you her code name, which is used in the quote on the right.

As I tried to console Amanda Smith, I had never thought I would see this peppy girl so down-hearted and morose. It pained me. As I began to interrogate her about what happened and who was there, I knew that something very serious had gone on here. There was a manifold of people who could have done this. I took up one of the most important mysteries of my life. | Journal Entry #1

At the Scene of the Crime | CLue #1 A white glove found on the floor of the crime scene

Clue #2 A Target receipt | THAT WAS MADE OUT TO MICKEY MOUSE! | So many clues, where do I begin to look? | Clue #3 A Foot Print

Suspect #1 | I started off with Mickey Mouse. I questioned him because he had a very strong motive. He was addicted to pancakes. He used the alibi that he was at a photo shoot in Roemer park. His alibi was a little shaky, because he had no firm proof. It was then when I had a breakthrough. I noticed that he was missing a glove (which we found at the store). When I questioned him about it, he flushed and said he had misplaced it. When I asked him about the Target receipt, he stammered that he had gone there before the photo shoot. Why did he not tell me this before? | SUSPICIOUS | MICKEY MOUSE | Journal Entry #2

Suspect #2 | I interrogated Bart next, because he had gone shopping for the first time in years, on the same day the pancakes were stolen. Coincidence or not I was going to find out. After interrogating him, I grudgingly admitted he had nothing to do with the crime. He had an alibi, of being at Nordstrom. He provided camera proof and a receipt. Overall, he also had no motive, except to keep his image so he became inconsequential to this mystery. | Bart Simpson | Journal Entry #3

Overview of Clues and Suspect Analysis | The suspicious white glove was a clear pointer towards the criminal. After seeing that Mickey Mouse had no glove, and coincidentally his glove had appeared in the store of the crime, I knew that I was getting somewhere. The Target receipt made it clear that Mickey had gone to Target at a time. The foot print was a red herring. I found out that many people wear tennis shoes while they grocery shop. | Journal Entry #4

Even before I questioned the suspects, I had a hunch. I had believed that it was Mickey Mouse from the start. I had thought that the foot print may have had something to do with the crime, because it was so big, but many people wear big shoes. I never liked Mickey Mouse with his over-sized shoes, so I did some snooping around. After talking to his director I was told that there had been no photo shoot at Roemer Park during the time of the crime. | Journal Entry #5

MYSTERY | Crime - Someone stole Amanda's pancakes while she was in Target. Clue #1 - A white glove found by the area where the pancakes should have been. Clue #2 - A target receipt with the name made out to Mickey Mouse. Red Herring- A big foot print in the snow. Suspect number 1 - Mickey Mouse Suspect number 2 - Bart Simpson

OVERVIEW | Who does the glove point too? Mickey Mouse. Who does the receipt point too? Mickey Mouse. Who is responsible for stealing the pancakes? Mickey Mouse. The Verdict Mickey will go on a pancake diet, where he gets no pancakes for 6 1/2 months. He was fortuitous in this punishment, for it was not as cruel as we could have made it.

SIR ARTHUR CONAN DOYLE | Sir Arthur Conan Dayle was a physician and writer, well known for his Sherlock Holmes books. He was one who believed in fairies and spiritual activities.
