2: Trustworthiness means: Don't tell secrets, don't lie or cheat.

3: One day at school, John told Joe a secret about a classmate at lunch. Joe had faked a promise not to tell anybody.

5: After lunch it was recess and Joe told Selena John's secret about Heather. Selena went home and wrote about the secret in her diary.

7: The next day, Selena told Heather the secret, and the secret was about Heather.

9: The next day at school Heather went to John, and he went to Joe and said, "Why did you tell everybody the secret about Heather?" Joe said,"I'm sorry I did not have any trustworthiness."

10: Respect means: be nice to people and treat others the way you want to be treated.

11: There was a family with two children. Their names were Emily and April. The parents' names were Stephanie and Kyle. When April became a teenager, her dad and mom had to respect her differences because she was more of an adult.

13: April respected her younger sister Emily, and did not make fun of her even though she had glasses. The sisters also didn't hit or punch people. April and Emily didn't threaten or use bad language to people. April was not loud when Emily was doing her homework either.

15: One day the children went to school. There was a bully who pushed another student and her lunch dropped. The bully realized that what he did was not respectful. Emily and April saw the girl's lunch drop, and they came to help her pick up the mess, and so did the bully.

17: At school it was, "Bring Your Family to School Day". Emily brought her family and she had a good day at school. April and Emily love and respect their family.

18: Responsibility means: take care of your pets and other things that belong to you.

19: Megan got a new puppy named Patches. It was Megan's responsibility to take care of and feed her new puppy. | Megan forgot to feed Patches for a whole week, and Patches got very hungry, thirsty, and sad.

20: Bella, Megan's older sister is trying to help Megan learn about responsibility. She bought her own dog, and named her Christine.

21: Bella bought Christine so she could teach Megan how to give food and water to Patches. Megan learned a little responsibility that day.

22: When Bella and Megan were at school, Victoria, the dog sitter, would come by to take the dogs for a walk in the afternoon. The girls knew that that was the responsible thing to do.

23: Even though the dogs were always fed, watered, and walked, they sometimes got into mischief. One day when Bella and Megan came home from school, they saw a BIG mess. All of their things had been torn up and scattered around. Patches and Christine looked very guilty.

24: Bella and Megan decided to take Patches and Christine to obedience school. They wanted their dogs to learn how to have good manners, so that they would be safe and happy dogs.

25: Now Megan and Bella know how to take care of their pets in a responsible way. They all love spending time playing and taking care of their dogs.

26: Fairness means: play a fair game; follow the rules; don't cheat; don't lie

27: Once upon a time, two boys named Jake and David were playing Hungry Hungry Hippos. Then Jake cheated and David said, "Hey! That's not fair. You're cheating." "Sorry for my unfairness," said Jake.

29: The next day Jake and David played Candy Land, and David tried to steal Jake's cards. Jake caught David cheating and said, "Stop cheating!" "What do you mean cheating?" asked David. "You stole my cards!" said Jake. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to cheat," said David. "Yeah right. You were probably getting back for what I did yesterday," said Jake.

30: The next day the boys played Gator Golf. Jake said, "Hey! You're cheating again. "No, you're cheating!" said David.

31: "No, You put the ball in the gator's mouth without hitting it," said Jake. "No. You did. I hit it and you broke my golf club!"

32: Candy Land | Hungry Hungry Hippos | Gator Golf

33: The next day the two boys played all the games without cheating, and both boys said, "I had the best time today."

34: Caring means: be nice; help people in need.

35: Once there were three ninjas who helped old people. Their names were Kai, Chi, and Jay.

37: "Hey Kai, what do you want to do?" asked Chi. "Well Chi, maybe we can go help old people in need." "What's up?" said Jay. "Hey Jay. We were just going to help old people," said Chi.

39: "That's a great idea," said Jay. "Ok, let's go," said Kai. "Here we are. Let's help," said Jay. "I will help this old person with his wheelchair," said Kai. "I will help this old lady walk," said Chi.

41: "I will help this handicap person," said Jay. "It's getting late ,so lets go home," said Kai.

43: "Why so glum Kai and Chi?" asked Jay. "We had such a good feeling helping others, we want to do it again." said Kai and Chi.

44: Citizenship means: doing the right thing for the country and our environment

47: One day Sam and Britny were walking down the street and they saw trash on the side of the road. Sam said, "Let's pick up the trash. Let's help keep our environment clean." "Why should we do that?" asked Britny. "Because, if there is trash in the water, the animals that live there might die, and that's how we can show good citizenship" "Ok. Let's do it," said Britny.

49: The next year everyone was throwing down trash again because they forgot about citizenship. Sam and Britny went to talk to the people and told them, "Please don't throw any more trash," but the people said,"NO!" Sam and Britny tried to pick up the trash by themselves, but it was a never ending job. People kept throwing trash.

51: Sam and Britny begged the people and hoped that they would stop throwing trash on the ground, but they never listened. Sam and Britny took on the job of picking up everyone's trash. They were very tired from doing that day after day.

53: One morning there was more trash than ever. They picked up the trash people threw. Then a few minutes later there were people helping to pick up the trash. Then Sam and Britny asked, "Why are you doing that?" They all said,"Because we are doing what you said. Let's keep the environment clean." Then they all said, "That's how we show citizenship."
