S: Our Thanksgiving Cookbook 2010
BC: Thanksgiving Day will soon be here, It comes along but once a year. If I could only have my way, We'd have Thanksgiving every day.
FC: Our Thanksgiving Cookbook November 2010 TCCES AM Pre-K Class
1: Pumpkin Pie by Chef Dooling Buy 1 unbaked 9" deep dish pie shell. Mix 3/4 c sugar, 1/2 t. salt and 1 3/4 t. pumpkin pie spice in a small bowl. Beat 2 eggs in big bowl. Stir in a 15oz can pure pumpkin and the sugar-spice mixture. Slowly stir in 1 can evaporated milk. Pour into pie shell. Bake in preheated 425F oven for 15 min. Lower temperature to 350F. Bake 40-50 min. Cool on wire rack for 2 hours. Serve with whipped topping. We like RediWhip!
2: Turkey by Chef Gage Put a bag over the turkey. You can draw eyes and a mouth and teeth. Put an egg in it. Stir it up. Put it in the oven for 12 hours, then it will be a turkey! But, the oven has to be cold because we are eating cold turkey.
3: Pizza by Chef Colin For Thanksgiving, I'm going to eat lots of cheese pizza and a mushroom pizza for Dad and Mom to share. Put dough out and sprinkle a little cheese on, then olives and pepperoni. Don't cook it. My Dad's will be big, GIGANTIC! And mine will be small.
4: Noodles by Chef Emi Put a pan on the stove and twirl it. Pour hot water on it. Dunk it into the sink, and the water drains down into the little hole. Put them back on the stove. Put them with butter and cheese, and then, you eat it! I also like blue cake with white frosting and lots of sprinkles.
5: Chicken by Chef Kenton I'm going to eat chicken for Thanksgiving. I bake it in the oven and put tomato sauce on it. Bake it for 30 minutes.
6: Soup by Chef Emily Get a pan. Put soup in it, and carrots and tomatoes. Cut them up in pieces and then it cooks. Let it cook for 30 minutes. Then, you eat it. I also like peaches.
7: Macaroni & Cheese by Chef Simon Get a pan of water and wait til the water makes bubbles. Get the noodles and pour it in, then wait for it to cook. But, I don't know about the cheese part. I wasn't with my mom during that part. It's good!
8: Ice Cream by Chef Brody Put it in a cone. Cut up the strawberries, and then put on whip cream, and put it on the table, and eat it!
9: Mashed Potatoes by Chef Caden Peel the potatoes and put them in the pan. Then, take them out of the pan with tweezers. Smash them two times and put salt and pepper on top. It makes them yummy!
10: Macaroni & Cheese by Chef Charlie I love macaroni & cheese! Just put it in the microwave and add the cheese. It's easy!
11: 3 1/2 c. flour 2 t. salt 1 1/2 t. baking soda 1 t. cinnamon 1 t. nutmeg | Pumpkin Bread by Chef Trachsel | 3 c. sugar 1 c. oil 2/3 c. water 2 c. pumpkin 1 t. vanilla | Sift dry ingredients into a large bowl. Add remaining ingredients, mix until smooth. Pour into two greased loaf pans. Bake at 350F for 1 hour. Turn out after 5 minutes onto a rack to cool.
12: Strawberries & Cool Whip by Chef Jaelyn I have a really great recipe to tell you, strawberries and Cool Whip. Put Cool Whip on strawberries, and then, put strawberry juice on it. Get a spoon and eat! You can also eat a carrot with a little broccoli.
13: Mashed Potatoes and Spaghetti by Chef Emerson Start with potatoes. Cut them and smash them with a smasher. Then, put them in a bowl. I put sauce on them, maybe pumpkin sauce! Well, for spaghetti, I start out with hard spaghetti and put them in a pot with water and turn the heat on. Then, put on spaghetti sauce.
14: Pumpkin Pie by Chef Lake You need salt, bananas, milk , water and a little bit of the seeds from some pumpkin. Stir them up with a mixer with a throttle, like a self mixer. Then, take a little bit of pepper, 2 scoops of sugar, 2 scoops of flour, 5 scoops of vanilla. Mix it altogether. Put it in the oven for 10 minutes, and then you have a pumpkin pie!
15: Mac & Cheese by Chef Burton Put it in a pan with hot water. Put it on the stove. Pour all the mac and cheese in. Put it in a bowl with holes. Then, put it back on the stove. Pour the cheese in. That's it.
16: French Fries by Chef Max I get them from the market. Use hot dough in the French Fries to make them delicious. Put them in the oven for a lot of days. Take them out at morning time. Use gloves. Put on ketchup, mustard and cheese. Cook them, then eat them! MMMMMM!
17: Potatoes with Gravy by Chef Morgan Peel the potatoes. Wash them. Put them in the oven and cook them for 4 minutes. The potatoes are white. My mommy also makes roast beef and cooks it in the oven.
18: Macaroni & Cheese by Chef Ashlee I want to make macaroni and cheese. Move it to the stove, then you eat it. And, also chicken and spaghetti and strawberry cupcakes with decorations.
19: Hamburgers by Chef Colin Get a hamburger. Put the bun on the top. Put the bun on the bottom. I have a chocolate milk and French fries for dessert!
20: Pumpkin Muffins by Chef Taggart Get the eggs out of the fridge. Mix together 1/3 c oil, 1 c pumpkin, 3 eggs. Add 2 1/3 c Bisquick, 1 1/4 c sugar, 2 t cinnamon. Put in muffin pans. Put muffin pans in oven. Bake 15-20 min at 350F. Cover with cream cheese icing after they are baked.
