2: setting | the term setting is a verified location at a certain time or place

3: To kill a mockingbird setting | The story takes place in Maycomb county southern Alabama in the 1930's

4: Maycomb county was an old town but it was a tired old town (Lee 6) Nobody has much chance to be furtive in Maycomb (lee 274) | evidence that supports setting

6: Point Of View: a specified or stated manner of consideration or appraisal standpoint. First POV is used in To Kill A Mocking bird. It is told from Scouts perspective. QOUTES..... "When i was almost 6 and Jem was nearly ten our summertime boundary's were Mrs.Henry Layayette duboses house two doors down to the north of us and the Radley place 3 doors down".(Lee 7)

8: the Scott borrow boys the Scottboros boys were 9 black teenagers wrongly accused of rape in Alabama in the 1930's they were framed by white teenagers. They did not get a fair trial all of the trial member where white and the time was during a racism period.

9: Emmit till was an African American boy who was murdered at the age of 14 years old he was murdered for apparently flirting with a white girl. so the girls husband and some friends took Emmit to a bar gouged his eyes out and shot him in the head disposing of the body by tying a 70 pound cotton gin around his neck with barbwire the police found his body three days later and was sent to Chicago,IL to his mother his mom deiced to have an open casket to show the world about racism.

10: Description of the narrator "scout" she is unusually smart taught her self how to read before school started. she is a girl but acts like a tomboy.

11: Perspective why i believe the story as told from Scouts perspective and why not Atticus or j em because we can understand everybody's age if it was told by Atticus And Jem it boring and bland and not that exciting.

12: PERSPECTIVE TERM: is the way you see something. If you think that toys corrupt children's minds, then from your perspective a toy shop is an evil place.

13: Conflict scout heard people talking trash on atticus she had to just ignore it like it never happened this is internal conflict PEOLPLE VS SOCIETY...

14: characterization dynamic character- dramatic character who undergoes an important inner change, as a change in personality or attitude static character- character who undergoes little or no inner change scout- is a girl buts wants to be a boy and is very smart and always go with jem wherever he goes atticus- is a lawyer and is hated by some peolple or sticking up for a Negro

15: Symbols symbol-something used for or regarded as representing something else Mockingbird- Jem, Tom Robinson, Dill, Boo Radley, Mr. Raymond they are mocking birds because of here innocence

16: theme 1 thing i noticed was that the theme was an innocence of another person like tom Robinson.
