FC: 2007 Fantasy Baseball Media Guide: LET'S GO HUCKLEBERRY!

Mike Mader: Manager...unorthodox style makes him a wild card in every league in which he participates...Not known to listen to "expert" analysis or projections... | Early history of championships has now given way to three consective seasons of first place regular season finishes, followed by heartbreaking playoff exits...can he right the ship this year?

Mike Piazza: C/DH...Got off to a bit of a slow start, followed by an injury...The hope is that he will return ffrom injury in the next two weeks or so...If we can get .280 and 15 HR from him the rest of the way we will be thrilled...

Mark Teixiera: 1B...Acquired in recent trade w/Carlos Zambrano for Todd Helton, Dontrelle Willis, and Al Reyes...Looked at as the "missing piece" for this team...Solid power numbers should provide the lift we need...

Chase Utley: 2B...Somewhat controversial 1st Round Pick (2nd overall)...Contributes in every category at a premium position...Possible man crush?

Jimmy Rollins: SS...Streaky to the point that I constantly consider acquiring another SS to handcuff him...Torrid April followed by frigid May, par for the course for J-Roll...By the end of the season always puts up solid numbers at a premium position...

Chipper Jones: 3B...Key player in controversial trade that was vetoed early this year...Promptly went on the DL afterwords...Can he bounce back from injuries and disrespect to contribute to the winning cause?...140 games from Chipper would be huge for us...

Eric Byrnes: OF...Don't look now, but he may be the heart and soul of this team...Final round pick who contributes in all categories...Play like his hair is on fire...

Torii Hunter: OF...Hot start in a contract year, can he keep this up?...Should there be a category for HR's Robbed?

Manny Ramirez: OF...Traded a lot to get Manny after his terrible April start in hopes that his typical 40 HR and 120 RBI would be all mine...So far I am not wrong...Met him at a gas station in Pembroke Pines, FL...He had a nice watch...

B.J. Upton: 2B, 3B, OF...Solid contributor in all categories, but can he keep this up all year?...Highly coveted trade bait, should I pull the trigger?...Versatility makes him very valuable...

Adam LaRoche: 1B...Bounced around the waiver wire after a poor start, but is now starting to come around...Can he reach his 30 HR numbers from last year, or will he find himself without a team again soon...

Akinori Iwamura: 3B...Japanese import that is a bit of an unknown, but so far he hits everything in sight...Can you win with more than one Devil Ray on your team?...

 Brandon Webb: SP...Honorary staff ace...Last year's NL C Young...Solid in just about ecery start...Never misses a turn...

Roy Halladay: SP...Gutsiest pitcher on the staff...returned from getting his appendix removed in just over 3 weeks and pitched 7 shutout innings in his next start...Always a CG threat...

Carlos Zambrano: SP...When this head case isn't starting fights with his teammates he has CY Young potential...Can he put it together in a contract year?...$100 million on the line says he can...

Roger Clemens: SP...He has been taking up a roster spot for over a month...can he prove to be worth it...Are the Yankees a sinking ship either way?...

Ching-Ming Wang: SP...Heavy sinker maybe better in real life than in fantasy..Doesn't give up HR, will he get as many wins as last year?...

Kelvim Escobar: SP...Solid Starter who contributes in every category...Used high waiver claim to get him...

Jonathan Papelbon: RP...Acquired in the Manny Ramirez deal...Gets snaked for save opportunities by Okajima...Stop babying him!...

Brett Myers: SP, RP...Converted to closer by genius Charlie Manuel...Worked out great until he got hurt...Bullpen ace when healthy...

Matt Capps, RP...Newly annointed Pittsburgh closer...Every indication is that he will be solid all season long...

Chad Cordero: RP...Rebounding with solid May after subpar April...Trade candidate in July...Will he continue to be the closer then?...

Prognosis: A third of the way through the season, LET'S GO HUCKLEBERRY currently sits in second place. After sustaining DL stints to no fewer than five starters, we hope to get completely healthy by the end of the month. Then, it's time to make our move...
